MLP Crossover/AU – The Alicorn’s House (My Little Witch’s House)

Didn’t think I’d ever post anything here. But this seemed like a much better place to post this.

This will most likely make no sense to anyone who hasn’t played the game ‘The Witch’s House.'

(Spoilers for ‘The Witch’s House)

These are the current My Little Pony characters and the roles I think they would best play in The Witch's House as part of my crossover/AU: The Alicorn's House.

Twilight would be Ellen - Friendship is magic after all...
Her backstory would remain the same as Ellen's. However this version of Twilight would have originally been born an earth Pony, making her transformation into an Alicon all the more drastic.
She would also be a considerably younger version of Twilight, possibly nearing her teens before the events of the story took place.
(Let's say if they were human, Twilight would be around 12 while Fluttershy would be 17....speaking of Fluttershy...)

Fluttershy would be Viola - I really liked the idea of her killing the frog during the snake puzzle being a big clue to the twist. If this crossover was a game and the player had never played the original, I imagine this moment would surprise them quite a bit because of how out of character it would be for Fluttershy. Though maybe, just maybe all 'Fluttershy' really wanted to do was feed a poor hungry snake.
(Plus, you know, she's really kind and caring and if a dying filly begged her to grant them their one final wish, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to think she'd accept.)

A Changeling/Spike would be the black cat -
They would eat the hearts of the houses victims instead of their souls and would provide Twilight with spell books to help improve her magic. They would use a magic similar to their own to change Twilights appearance, hiding the symptoms of her sickness as well as giving her wings and a horn so that she may actually be able to perform powerful and advanced spells. In addition the Changeling would take the form of 'a baby dragon.'

Rainbow Dash would be Viola's father (or best friend in this case) -
Her first reaction to seeing a monster would most likely be to kill it without question- especially if it was trying to hurt her friend. She would just act on instinct, that being to save her friend and be a hero. Perfect for the ending. - This choice was inspired by the ending to the story 'The Cough.'

Apple Jack would be the Librarian- in The Diary of Ellen; the boy who eventually becomes the librarian states that learning how to read wouldn't help him harvest crops. That small line referencing farming and the fact that giving them rope would connect AJ with her lasso made me make her the Librarian.

Pinkie Pie would be the cook - Based solely on cupcakes.

Rarity would be the Beautiful White Flower-
I had some trouble thinking of who Rarity would be. In the end the Beautiful White Flower made the most sense.

The CMC would be the Clever Red Vines -
Seemed like a good role for them. The one who would tell the truth when asked 'how to kill a flower?' would be Sweetie Belle. After all, she is Rarity's sister, so she would know her weakness. Perhaps she would even have her own reasons for wanting 'The Beautiful White Flower' dead.

Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara would be the Talking Yellow Flowers -
Again, it just seemed most fitting. They think incredibly highly of themselves and wish to be seen as the most beautiful in the garden. It just so happens that Rarity being alive makes that wish seemingly impossible.

Angel Bunny would be the Frog - Because 'Fluttershy' killing a random frog wasn't bad enough. But for story context the real Fluttershy would use Twilights magic to create them, giving Angel Bunny to Twilight in an attempt to make Twilight feel some remorse for taking her body by triggering her body's memories of how much her animals need her.

Mr Bear would be the Snake -
Added mostly to incorporate another one of Fluttershy's animals, but also because it seemed to work better with this idea of mine:
The solution to the "feed the snake (bear)" puzzle would be to feed Mr Bear some cake from the Mirror Room. However this solution would never occur to Twilight as that solution would be deemed either too easy or too ridiculous to be the true answer. It is then that she will quickly rationalise that this puzzle is the true reason for why she was given Angel Bunny in the first place. Since the bear ends up being fed, the puzzle is still able to be completed.

Twilights Smarty Pants Doll would be The Purple Doll - (Not really a character but I thought it would still be ingesting to add.)
This idea comes from a theory of mine that I'm sure I was not the only one to think of/ is most likely true: This being that the doll we need to find in order to complete the final puzzle is actually Ellen's Doll from when she was still human.
Her doll is described as being blonde with a purple dress to match Ellen's hair, and despite the fact that the doll we find in game seems to be brunet, I still think it's a possibility that the dolls are the same. In fact the doll could be brunet in the game in order to represent Ellen's mother who was the one who gave the doll to her.
(When first reading the fan translation of the Diary of Ellen novel, I was under the impression that her doll might have been a rag doll. But in the manga it is revealed that Ellen's doll looks almost exactly like the dolls seen in the final puzzle.)
