Welp ok then... · 3:02am Mar 15th, 2019
This is my third snow day IN A ROW. I'm not sure if y'all heard, but here in the Midwest on Wednesday we had a little thing dubbed The Bomb Cyclone. Essentially, we had a winter hurricane on land.
Yeah.
A. Fricken. Land. Hurricane.
Welp, I live right in the middle of where the 'Eye' of the 'hurricane' spent most of it's time, so we are still dealing with the after effects. We got horrible winds up to 97 miles per hour!
So, basically I'm going to have a five day weekend instead of a five day week at school.
Which means I'm gonna have to go longer in the summertime to school.
Fantastic, am I right?
However, besides that I'm grateful. Neither my parent's house (since I don't pay rent, and being a freeloader, means it ain't my house) and my Granny's house lost power, no one got hurt when parents left to get groceries and check on Granny and stuff (I was staying at home with my bird studying for my SAT -_-).
So, Bomb Cyclone of March 13, 2019? I survived and so far it's been... Interesting. Especially the after effects.
Oh and Happy Pi day you bastards! <3 I love you all!
Can you send some further West? We haven't seen snow here for almost 20 years, and It's getting a little irritating.
Send some east please!!!!!!!

O.O
*Goes full on Elsa mode and does T-pose with arms* I SEND BOTH OF YOU SNOW!
no but in all honesty, the snowstorm got pushed up to Canada. Because that's what we Americans are best at, dumping our problems on our Canadian neighbors.
I would love to see snow, but that does sound like a lot.
Good to hear from you
Stay safe
5028068
It is a lot. Like, ten feet in some drifts! XD
5028069
Will do my man!
Where I lived, the interstate and the highway were both closed. There were massive 5-foot drifts where usually we might only get a 1-foot drift at the most. Hundreds of cars were stuck on the side of the road. People were sleeping at the gas station, it was that bad. Thousands of homes were without power.
I was lucky and had a "regular" day, in that I wasn't injured and only lost power for an hour or so. I even went to work, because I'm a CPA and this is what we do this time of year.
5028072
Yep that sounds about right. Well, our interstates were closed for two days, but yeah there were people trapped EVERYWHERE. Like, my granny only lives 1.8 miles away from my parents house. But when they went to check on her, they couldn't get home for TEN. HOURS. Because the roads were THAT BAD. Oof!
5028070
Wow...a whole lot.
5028075
Yes. XD
5028076
eeyup. TOo much snow for me
5028077
Haha yeah it's crazy. I don't even want to go outside.
5028078
I wouldn't either
5028088
I might be Russian, but I'm a cold little Russian. XD
5028089
Just because we grow up with certain temperatures doesn't mean we like them EX
And I thought we Ohioans had it bad. And happy Pi day to you to sexy!
5028095
Exactly! XD
5028097
Yeah nah.
5028100
Eeyup! CX
Super heat isn't my cup of tea despite growing up in the south.
5028280
Really? Where in the south?
5028285
Texas.
5028293
Oh hey my bro lives there!
5028305
Truly? How’s he like it?
5028325
He's moving back to Colorado. XD that answer the question?
5028064
The citizens push it up, the government blames the south.
5028347
Yeah pretty much. Its unfortunate!
5028331
Guess it does X3
Which part of Texas did he live in?
5028367
Houston
5028371
Relatively big city and not too far proximity.
5028375
And humid af in the spring, according to him.
5028377
yeah it can get that way down here.
Myself away
