I realize I’m slacking on stories, no, this is not a quit address.
However, part of this is I have a 10-page research paper due on the 15th, I’m doing mine on the history of (popular) Metal music.
This paper is taking up a lot of my time, and I actually haven’t got around to listening to either the rest of Valley of the Damned or My Blood. I feel compelled to make something out of this research paper.
Of course, the musically obssessed brony will write a story about music (Trench and Orion nonwithstanding) so I want to write a story on the history of popular Metal music. However, there’s a lot of bands there, and I’m stuck on step one, ponifying Elvis Presley to invent Rock and Roll (I know he didn’t, but he’s generally credited). Not even counting how I’m going to ponify the giants like The Beatles, Alice Cooper, MC5, Anthrax, Slayer (their lyrics would be an even harder challenge in such an idealistic world), Dream Theater, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, and Marilyn Manson.
Basically, what I’m saying is I’m open to suggestions, can’t think of any past 1975? You don’t have to yet, it’ll be divided into chapters (not by genre, I do not wish that pain upon myself).
It’d also help if you could give me additional info on popular Metal bands, I’ll be writing this like SatllionForce, keeping the events with artistic liberties.
You will be credited unless you want it done anonymously.
