I honestly don't feel like the whole 'Queen Twilight' thing will last. I think it's more likely she'll end up stepping down, and creating some sort of ruling council, or giving up most her power to some sort of elected government, and becoming more of a figurehead, like the British 'monarchy' is in real life.

Also, from the looks of it, we could be getting a whole Crystal War arc.

The same way any royal can resign and pass the crown on to the next in line. And I mean, Twilight already IS a Princess equal to Celestia and Luna, so they don't even have to pass the crown on. It just means we're going from a Tetrarchy back to a Diarchy, Twilight and Cadance.

I haven't confirmed any of this but I've heard rumors that Grogar was confirmed. I've also seen a picture of Chrysalis crying. And with Sombra shown here that means either he wasn't killed or that Grogar brought him back.

I mean, Sombra's death left little to the imagination. As did the Storm King's. AJ's parents, while implied, are 100% dead. There was also a funeral on screen briefly in a prior season, and finally...

It is the final season. And by the looks of the trailer, they're going all out. At this point, there's no time to be shy in the plot points they wish to convey.

But we shall see.

Actually the Storm king was edited in the movie to still have eyes moving in his broken statue form in the credits specifically so kids wouldn't think of shattering him as killing him.

During the comedic doodles that's canonicity is... questionable at best and more of a visual gag.

In terms of canon, the dude is deceased. That movie wasn't afraid to go into some dark territory, especially around a certain town of hive and villainy.

Also, forgot to mention Mean 6. That death scene was quite brutal.
