I started watching videos about MREs · 1:33pm Mar 6th, 2019
About a year or two ago, Space Nutrients Station sponsored Funhaus & Rooster Teeth; I recall James Willems & Burnie Burns drinking the beverage on video & discussing their space-food: James explained that the drink-mix served as an efficient liquid alternative to a meal, in a bottle. Simply, you combine the powdered-mix with water, & you have a full meal in (mostly) liquid form! It was like a nutritious astronaut's smoothie.
At the time, the product & its cool advertising & packaging intrigued me, though I decided against purchasing the stuff to save money. Recently, I attempted to order that product online, but learned the company no longer produces or sells that space-food drink. :[
However, I archived that product's website when I first found it; so, you can check it out below:

So, what is actually in the bottle?
Flax seeds, Hemp hearts, Organic Sprouted Rice flour, Dextrose + Vitamins & Minerals according to 2000 calorie diet are the basics of 100%FOOD. Then natural flavors added to fit the taste to your choice. Gluten & dairy free.
Whilst trying to find the videos wherein James & Burnie drank the liquid-meal, YouTube recommended one of
Steve1989's videos about MREs to me, probably since I recently watched other related content (such as videos about the Eastern Front in WWII, videos from Military Arms Channel (MAC), videos from DemolitionRanch, & reviews of the DP-12).
I subscribed to him & highly recommend watching his videos as he accurately describes the food's consistency, smell, & taste with entertaining voice-over, films himself preparing the food, & provides close-ups of the food as well. Also, Steve smokes the cigarettes included in the rations & reviews them as well (despite the fact it seems he doesn't regularly smoke); seemingly, he simply respects the historical significance of the product, evaluating it as a part of the MRE.
Before watching his videos, I was ignorant of the fact that MREs sometimes include accessories & toiletries in addition to food, such as matches & toilet-paper. I enclosed examples of his videos below:
