Sad day for us all, I know, believe me, I'm with you guys <3 :'( I mean I was a bit more sad when I heard rumors about S9 being the last season, and I had a feeling that once those rumors came to light, I had a feeling that the show was either ending on S9 or S10 <3 Especially on S9. Would I have loved if MLP ended on S10? Absolutely, I would have loved MLP to end on its tenth year just to nicely round things out just because, well, I'm that detail orientated and I love things even like that^^ However, I am extremely thankful that our show was able to go on for five years <3 Heck, I'm thankful that we got five years and anything beyond season three and that was when Hasbro actually want to end the show:D Good thing it didn't or else my love for this show wouldn't have grown to the point where I am officially contributing to this fandom!:D My love for my OTP, Fluttercord, wouldn't have grown to the point that it has!:D Without this show, I wouldn't have a OTP for Pete's sake! I mean, I would still have ships I ship, but just not an OTP that I adore with all my being <3 I never thought I would be part of the many creators for this fandom, but here I am, and it's crazyXD I'm not saying I'm a big creator or anything, and I'm happy that I'm not because I feel like a big time creator because of all you^^ <3 You guys make me feel like I'm making my mark on this fandom for the show I love and for me, that's all that matters <3 I've heard from some of you that stories like "The Mare Who Became Queen", especially that story, got you back into this fandom when you wanted to give up on it <3 I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have comments like that where my stories have helped you in some emotional or motivating or heartfelt way:') <3 That is the true goal of a writer, in my opinion, to help and touch your audience. That's what it means to create or to be an artist. I'm glad that I'm able to make my mark in the way I am. It's slow sure, but I have a small place of my own in the vast place of the internet and that makes me feel proud for what I do for all of you^^ <3 Truly, I mean it when I say that you guys, along with the show, help inspire me to continue to create:) You guys help me to be a better write each time I put something out there <3 I started out rough, believe me, and thanks to all of you, I'm a lot better than I use to be:) I still have a lot to learn, but I'm better than I started and that makes me happy^^ I'm so glad that all of you support my stories and have really supported stories that I'm most proud of/felt the most personal connection to like "The Mare Who Became Queen". Also, "The Mare Who Became Queen" audio drama is a thing!:D LolXD Again, something I never thought would happen until I started writing TMWBQ. Not to mention that I have made so many friends through this fandom and friends that I wouldn't trade for the world for <3 I have received critique and help from bronies I never thought could give me the time of day:D And in return, I got to help other writers and creators with their craft <3 In return, they have shown their gratitude for my critique in a manner similar to how I thanked the bronies I've looked up to:)
Because of all this, there is no way that I'm going to stop creating!:D I couldn't leave you guys or this fandom!:D Believe me, this is only the beginning!:D And many creators in the fandom feel the same way based on some of the videos I've seen so far!:D So don't worry, this fandom is not dying!:D I have a feeling that it will last for a long time:) We're still here after nine years, and because of this, I have a feeling that we're a fandom that's going to stay on the internet for awhile <3 Whether the internet wants us or notXD We've been through the too many ups and downs of the show and fandom strife and highs to abandon each other now! I still love this show and fandom and both will always be my favorite things^^ My plans include me continuing with "The Mare Who Became Queen" audio drama, that's not going to stop anytime soon <3 I am so grateful to the cast and crew who believe in the story and the project so much, and of course, big thanks to the fans of the project of course^^ I am so terribly sorry that each episode takes so long to make, because of this, I hope each episode is worth it when it does premier:) But I digress, thank you all so much for your patience^^ I still have G4 MLP stories to update and new G4 MLP stories that I want to create:) There are so many things I want to do on my youtube, both MLP projects after or during TMWBQ audio drama production/run and even non MLP projects which I hope that you guys don't mind me pursuing:) Once I get my own mic and all that, I want you all to hear my voice^^ Kyumiku and I want to continue with Fluttercord Week and have one for next year, so keep yourselves hyped for that;) And many brony creators out there are still in this mind set as well, so don't give up hope and cry just yet my fellow bronies^^
Not to mention that we're having a G5 coming soon after G4 ends!:D We're like TMNT you guys, MLP can be a franchise that can live on, not only through the fandom, but through reboots as well!:D I know reboots can be hit and miss and it'll be hard to adjust to a new generation after having G4 for so long <3 Believe me, I feel you all <3 But based on the rumors I've heard about it and the fact that some of the G4 writers are going to be involved with this, I have a feeling that G5 is going to be really good you guys!:D I'm looking forward to a new animation style, I'm looking forward to new stories that this franchise can tell and how this fandom reacts to those kind of stories, I'm looking forward to the good things that come with change, I'm looking forward to new interpretations to characters that I love <3 Trust me you guys, Hasbro and the writers know that G4 was big and they will try their hardest to make sure that G5 is a worthy follow up reboot. G4 will always have a special place in my heart and be number one, no matter how good or bad (don't worry G5 won't be bad, I'm 90% sure on that) G5 is, G4 will still my top cartoon <3 Anyway, it has to be encouraging that G5 might be starting out as a full on theater movie, I think it's in theaters kind of movie, first; acting as a premier before starting the series after!:D I mean, we get a full movie budget for a premier episode essentially!:D Usually, premier episodes to a series doesn't get that!:D That has to count for something!:D My biggest and craziest hope for G5, whether it becomes canon OR if it doesn't become canon in G4, is for G5 to make Fluttercord canonXD Or at least continue with the subtle shipping between these two and have them form a deep and personal bond beyond measure just like they are in G4:D I would love to see Fluttercord in a new light and I want G5 to take a new perspective when it comes to our favorite couple and be creative with it essentially^^ I would love to see a more complex Fluttercord relationship, the kind of drama and complications and depth we see in the best Fluttercord fanfics out there. However, despite this complication, I would still love for the future Fluttercord relationship to retain the same sweetness and cuteness and humor that made our Gen 4 OTP so special in the first place <3 I would love for it for the future Fluttercord relationship to start out similar to in a way to how Discord and Fluttershy started out. They barely had any screen time together when they first met, but once they had a episode together, they become the best of friends. Then, that friendship turns into shy and awkward love and then deep and romantic love^^ Squee! Haha lol I know our Fluttercord couple right now is not out of the friendship part of their relationship, but you get my meaning, right?;) I still want them to be opposites attract and opposing in every way yet still have a lot of common, I want them to have the drive to stay together despite all odds, and just all that fun jazzy that made the original Fluttercord OTP amazing and such a wild rideXD <3 Lol! Don't worry, the original Fluttercord couple will always be OTP to me, I'm just warning you all that once Discord appears in Gen 5 appears, you bet your tail that I will be campaigning for Fluttercord Gen 5XD Lol!
But honestly, how can Discord not appear in Gen 5?! Based on the rumors we have so far on Gen 5, we're dealing with different dimensions and traveling through these different dimensions. Dude, that has Discord written all over it!:D Combined with the fact that Discord is still popular among brony fans to this day, and we definitely have a for sure that Discord will be in Gen 5^^ I hope they keep him as a villain turns good story or as a chaotic neutral trickster character turned kinda hero or trickster God learning to love story or trickster anti hero who turns full hero in a way in the end or something of that formXD I also hope they give him a really cool design and just go full out on his looks!:D You know, make him look super fun and cool!:D I also really hope that Steve Blum, a voice actor known for villainous voices and smoother sounding voices and even heroic voices and cute voices, plays Discord in Gen 5: ) I have a feeling that Steve Blum could bring something really cool to Discord’s character and give him a bit more depth^^ Like how his voice for him can slightly change and get more emotional as Discord’s character slowly changes in Gen 5 : ) His voice has such a range to it, and I feel like it can fit perfectly into the trickster evil into trickster good character type : ) But my main point is, I want a veteran voice actor who is not a guest star or celebrity and are used to voicing villains and/or trickster characters because that way we can have more Discord in the series, and when we have more Discord in the series, the writers will have the opportunity to really dedicate their time to slowly fleshing out Discord’s character and give him a character arc he really deserves while also giving us more ways that Discord can be wonderfully chaotic^^
Since Fluttershy is rumored to be in Gen 5, SPOILER ALERT BY THE WAY BUT THEN AGAIN THEY CAN CHANGE THIS AT ANYTIME SO THIS IS NOT FACT YET, a unicorn, I would love to see Fluttershy’s character arc of getting over her shyness and becoming braver (I hope they still make her a shy character in some way shape or form for Gen 5. I mean, her name is still FlutterSHY after all;)), being manifested in her getting more skilled/powerful with her own magic<3 Like I can see her starting out as a weak unicorn, but with the help of the Mane 6 and Twilight and Discord, Fluttershy could end up as a cool wise nature master mage type!:D That would be so sweet!:D PS I hope we hear more about Gen 5 soon since the next MLP movie is going to come out in 2020 or 2021: 3
Speaking of Fluttercord, (like my transition there?;)) let's talk about my hopes for S9:
1) Fluttercord

There are two ways that I want Fluttercord to be handled in the last season of MLP: 1) become canon or 2) they don’t become canon but we are left in a state where we fans know that they will always be together.
There might be 50% or less chance for our dear Fluttercord couple in becoming canon because there has been a recent trend in modern cartoons that when their series end, couples that people thought would never become canon actually become canon right at the very last minute of the last episode of the series:D And if Fluttercord is ever going to become canon, most likely that’s how the whole thing will go down so that way they don’t have to fight with a fandom for another season or two on why they choose this couple to be canon instead of othersXD But then again, by this same logic, any MLP ship could become canon0-0 However, if I know how the writers for these shows work, our MLP staff or any writer for a show for that matter, would pick two characters that have spent a lot of time together and have a strong bond. For example, Adventure Time made Bubbeline canon because, not only was it a popular ship, but the two characters in the ship from what I’ve heard have spent a lot of time together and have a strong bond.
Although, shows like Voltron for example, especially in its last season (and if you have watched Voltron, you know what I’m talking about), made several couples canon that involved characters that didn’t spend a lot of time together. Which is why I brought up my second point that if Fluttercord doesn’t become canon, that’s fine, just make sure to not put them with characters they haven’t spent a lot of time with. For example, like Discord being paired up with Celestia or Luna or Twilight or Pinkie Pie. Another example, pairing Fluttershy with Thorax. I would get mad at this even if I didn’t ship Fluttercord but only saw them as friends because, as a fan who appreciates good romance and good relationship writing in stories, this would be a disservice to MLP’s writing because this show is all about relationships and that is one of the main things that people like about this show. And when I mean by relationships, I mean friendships and other platonic bonds like familial bonds, etc. This show is about teaching kids on what makes a good relationship and how to connect to others in a healthy way, and through Big Mac x Sugar Belle and Maud x Mud Briar and Shining x Cadence and Mrs & Mrs Cake, they are slowly teaching kids how to have healthy romantic relationships as well. If the MLP staff made a couple canon at the last second involving two characters who barely have enough screen time together instead of characters who have had to work on their relationship and try strong together like Fluttershy and Discord would just disregard everything in their writing that says what it really takes to have a good bond and relationship with someone, and thus disrespects their audience. Because Fluttershy and Discord have had the most episodes together, besides the Mane Six with each other and Mane Six with Starlight and Spike, and there has been an emphasis on the development of their friendship and how the two have to work on their relationship, if the MLP staff had to make a couple canon and it involved either Fluttershy or Discord, it might as well be Fluttercord from a writing stance. Not just from a shipping stand point. They can’t just separate the two because well, they’ve spent a lot of time together and they have an arc going, as simple as thatXD They wouldn’t feel force like other couples would because they have spent time together and have worked hard to get to the place that they are at, so it wouldn’t be out of left field basically. As much as I would prefer to have two final seasons to expand on the concept of Discord and Fluttershy realizing their feelings for one another and slowly come to terms with those feelings and then confessing to one another, however because I’m a pathetic shipper, I’ll still take them being canon because it would be something I thought it would never be a possibility for the show and the fact that it happened against all odds would be amazing: )However, ever since the whole controversy surrounding the Twilight x Flash Sentry in Equestria Girls, most likely our dear and wonderful MLP staff will handle any possible ending romance for this last season with great care and leave us deeply satisfied in that regard^^ <3 So, I have faith^^!
It would be amazing if Season 9 could give us another Fluttercord centered like Discordant Harmony in Season 7 <3 Or at least, lots and lots of Fluttercord moments in the two required Discord episodes they always give us in ever season <3 They owe us that my friends! But more importantly, whether to make Fluttercord canon or not, give us Fluttercord moments in the MLP finale episodes but this time more emotional and heart tugging like how it was in Twilight’s kingdom <3 Except, well you know, without Discord betraying Fluttershy and all thatXD I really want to see in the MLP finale, in terms of Fluttercord that is, is strong and emotional and striking displays of what Fluttershy and Discord would sacrifice in order to be together <3 I want moments that will show how much they deeply care and love each other without words, but through action and display of emotion alone <3 I mean, I wouldn’t mind meaning dialogue exchange between each other of XD Again, I would die if these two say “I love you” to each otherXD I truly need to see Discord heroic. I need to see Discord to show the world how much his friendship lessons have paid off, how much he has progressed as a character from being a villain to a hero who can be there for his friends when the time is right <3 I want to see Discord get serious and use his powers against the villains and be seen for the relatable hero that he can be <3 That would be such an amazing scene in the final moments of the show and it would be a scene that every brony would definitely welcome since it would wrap up Discord’s character arc nicely: )
I have an idea on how Fluttercord could become canon, subtly (and most likely our writers will make this couple canon subtly, but maybe they’ll surprise us with a Fluttercord kiss or a Fluttercord I love you, we’ll see;)), is that if we have a wedding during the last episode or episodes of the show (which I think it could be either Big Mac x Sugar Belle or Maud x Mud Briar, and I would love for it to be Maud x Mud Briar wedding!:D Oh my gosh, so cute!), and our dear bride throws the bouqet, I want Fluttershy to catch it and Discord is standing next to each other, they stare each other and blush, and then smile while they look away and blush <3^^ Oh my gosh, how cute would that be?!:D Plus, it would be the best reference to Bride of Discord ever!:D It’s perfect!:D Hire me as a MLP writer you guys, I just made you your perfect ending;) You’re welcome!^^
If in terms of how to portray them as a non canon couple, but still give them a satisfying ending to let the Fluttercord fans they’ll always be together, even if they’re not a romantic couple, is to show our a final scene of them having a Tuesday Tea in Fluttershy’s cottage and/or a flash forward showing an elderly Fluttershy & an elderely or still immortal looking Discord having Tuesday Tea in Fluttershy’s cottage^^ <3 How cute would that be?!:D To me, their Tuesday Teas, along with Fluttershy’s cottage, is a big representation of their relationship and a big part of what they like to do together : ) Keeping this for the finale is a guaranteed strategy to give any Fluttercord fan or any brony the warm satisfied feels^^
Speaking of the possible future of the Mane Six members,…
2) A montage for what the future lives are like for the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, the Princesses, and any other MLP character we care about if possible
I would love to see in the ending scenes of the final episode just a montage set to beautiful emotional instrumental ost and/or a beautiful emotional song sang by one of the main characters where it shows just a glimpse of what the future lives are like for our Mane Six, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, The Princesses, and other main side characters we’ve come to care about including our background ponies like Derpy and such <3 That would be great if we especially see the future lives of our background ponies we’ve come to deeply care about <3 I would love to see how the Mane Six kinda change but still stay the same as they grow older, maybe we can see them with families of their own and who they married or even flash forwards to them being elderly ponies interacting with their grand foals^^ I would die to see an older and bigger and more epic dragon version of Spike yet still show him being Twilight’s assistant in the library and acting like a sweet gentle giant basically^^ <3 That would be the best thing ever!:D I would love to see the same kinda thing for Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, and the other citizens of Ponyville^^ If we see Big Mac x Sugar Belle wedding or the Maud x Mud Briar wedding, we can have a brief moment seeing them doing the married life with kids^^ <3 I would love to see scenes of the Mane Six still going on adventures and teaching at the school, even as they get older, showing that no matter what, they’ll always be the heroic Elements of Harmony in Equestria <3 And then, after the montage, we have a great scene where the Student Six, assuming as the next generation Elements of Harmony kind of deal, writing a letter to Princess Twilight Sparkle and/or a filly reading a story book that’s about the adventures about the Mane Six, just a scene that parallels the first episode of the series or parallels the whole “Dear Princess Celestia…”. And we can have the lesson of the final episode be about something like “the greatest lesson to learn next is to learn to say good bye, let go, and let a new change being” <3 Man, I’m just looking forward to S9 having more emotional episodes, wrapping characters arcs, giving us glimpses into what the futures could like that, and things like that man!:D
Dude, I want to cry this season!:D LolXD Okay, hear me outXD So, I’ve never cried during a tv series before: ) It’s hard to make me cry when it comes to watching something. I almost cried during BOD, the only time I cried during a movie was Finding Dory, and because of this, I want the series that I care about to make me cry: ) Therefore, S9 of MLP, I challenge you! Make me cry!:D LolXD Which kinda transitions to my next point…
3) Daniel Ingram needs to give S9 of MLP the best music that this series has ever seen <3
I don’t mean to put so much pressure on Daniel Ingram, or the MLP writer staff for that matter, but I can’t help it cause they both have produced great stuff in the past, they are capable of doing it, and it’s the final season, so I can’t help but hope for emotional beautiful music and emotional beautiful episodes <3 I really want Daniel Ingram especially to bring his A game <3 I really want him to show the tv world what he’s made of, create a resume of music to show others “Look, this is what I can create, hire me to do everything!” I want this season to prove that he can write music to Disney <3 I want this season to prove that he can write his own beautiful musical for Broadway if he wanted to <3 The point is, I just want unforgettable songs that will leave a satisfied taste in my mouth and make me say “Yes, MLP ended a sweet note. Literally! LolXD” In other words, Daniel Ingram…make me cry with your musicXD Lol!
4) How the villains should be handled in the final season aka how Chrysallis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow and this new mysterious villain should be handled in the final season:
Like most people, I want Chrysallis to not be reformed and stay as a villain, and if possible, maybe become one of those where she learns to accept the decisions that her people have made without her, decides to leave them but not be an ally or a friend to the ponies or to her own people ever again. Instead, she just wanders alone, living with the fact that she is better off alone because then she won’t ruin the chances of survival and happiness for her people basically <3 Kinda of a anti-hero story <3 I can see that in her character, but not really the whole accepting friendship into her heart thingXD While she cares for her people, I can see not caring beyond that if you know what I meanXD She’s kinda too deep down the rabbit holeXD
Same for Cozy Glow, I don’t want her to be reformed. She’s too much like Darla Dimple from Cats Don’t Dance to reform and be goody friends sincerely with every pony again basicallyXD Again, like Chrysallis, I don’t see it in her character to go down this road. However, that doesn’t mean that her character can’t get a little depth to her character. School Raze left me wondering what made Cozy Glow so evil in the first place and why she wants to be the Empress of Friendship: )
The only villain that I can see getting a possible redemption, possibly because it really does depend on certain factors, is Tirek. I can see Tirek reforming if our heroes managed to get Scorpan back in Equestria to talk to his bro and all that<3 Man, I would kill to see a beautiful emotional scene of these two bros coming together and being brothers again!:D Then again, I would die to just to see Scorpan officially in the show:D His character has so much potential to being a cool character and I just want to see him:D! I would love to see Discord and Fluttershy be part of Tirek’s reformation/ reuniting Tirek with his brother Scorpan again and helping him see the light of friendship by seeing the light and forgiveness and love of brotherhood <3 I feel like Discord and Tirek and Fluttershy have an inter-connected story ever since S4 finale and it would be so cool if Discord or the power of Fluttercord had to power to reform other villains since that’s a big motif to Fluttercord itself/Discord <3 Hasbro, make it happenedXD
That’s my hopes for S9 ladies and gentsXD! I hope you gets everyone hyped instead of sad for the end of MLP <3 That is not an end, but a new beginning because I’ll still be around, a lot of the creators are around, and Gen 5 is on the way: ) In honor of S9, while I won’t be reviewing each episode (I deeply apologize for that)(however I will make an exception possible if there’s a S9 episode that’s really special and really mind blowing that I have to talk about), I will post a big blog post here about my thoughts on S9 and how it ended, I’ll talk about how MLP did as a whole, I’ll talk about my favorite episodes and songs and characters, I’ll talk about how I became a fan, etc. If there’s anything else that you want me to talk about in the big blog post that is to come once S9 ends, let me know in the comments down below: ) Keep being awesome my fellow bronies^^!
Phew! You sure gave us a lot to think about regarding Season 9. Personally, I’m a Shark of simple needs, so my two main hopes are more Fluttercord fuel (*snort* big surprise there) and that Skywishes never makes an appearance. That way she will remain a toy-only character for G4 and no one can claim my version of her is clashing with canon.
*Laughs and shrugs* What can I say? I’ve grown oddly fond of that crabby practical plodder with a penchant for wearing camouflage.
Also glad to hear the stories and audio drama will keep coming even if the show is ending.
I can already tell (from now and of all of 2019) that it's the beginning of the end.
And nobody can stop its inevitability.
I can't wait for the new audio drama! It sucks that the show's ending but it's been fun. And isn't that all that matters?

I loved your ideas for S9, I especially want fluttercord to become a canon, or at least have some fluttercord moments. And I have to honest I am sad G4 is ending, but after reading this I am more excited for what could happen and for G5 to come. And this really inspired me to continue my fanic and other fics in the future. Also if G5 is just as, or almost, or even better than G5 some fics might be made by based on that. Hey, you never know the writers might surprise us. I can't wait to see S9 episodes and to also see the second episode of The Mare Who Became Queen I love the story and I can't wait to see it come to life.
