Buckle Up: next chapter is gonna be big · 8:35pm Feb 21st, 2019
Not just in terms of story and character development (for almost everyone who is a major character, not just Starlight), but size, too.
You see, every chapter I plot out the story beats of each scene before I get to writing it. They're so I have a crystal clear vision of what will happen. They're usually only two to three pages on GDocs.
You know how much this one was, which I just got done finishing? Almost 5,000 words across eight pages!
Yeah. Like I said, this chapter is going to be looooong. That said, it might take me a week from now to finish it, but I will begin writing it tonight. The good thing when I'm like this, excited to share what I have in store, it's far easier for me to just start writing and let the words flow until I get tired.
Hopefully it will be worth the wait!
Thank you again, everybody, for following me on this emotional journey through Starlight's character and that of her friends. As this chapter concludes Act IV, which will undoubtedly be longer than V and VI, we enter the third act of the overall story, so to speak.
The nervoucitement is real.
