I understand if you drop your Patreon subscription, but I need a break from writing.
I've had to consistently convince friends of mine to not commit suicide, my muse is dead, I've hit writers block in so many different directions that I'm in a maze, I have an upcoming surgery, and so much stress that I can't function correctly on any given day. Not to mention my own self loathing and other mental health issues.
I'll get back to writing when I can and I'm not cancelling N4F2, but I need to take a hiatus.
Sorry in advance, remove your subscription on Patreon if you feel the need to.

Some of the fanfics I read have been on hiatus for years. No biggie if you take a break.
Take the break my friend. Do not feel like you owe us anything. Your own health, both physical & mental, take TOP priority.

Why are you sorry? You do this mostly for free, excepting a few generous people. You owe it to yourself to fix what's wrong before the superfluous stuff.

Dude, do whatever you need to to help your friend and yourself. That is so much more important than this story. And anyone who says that you owe them for the Patron is an asshole that is of no consequence to you. We'll be here, wishing you and your friend luck. Whenever you are ready come back, and not a minute sooner.

N4F2 has been on defacto hiatus for quite a while. Not sure where the self loathing is coming from, I know it doesn’t need to come from anywhere, but you are a talented artist if nothing else. Hope you make a self-indulgent blog post every once in a while even if the muse has deserted you; it’s good to see you’re still around.

and aparantly so have several people close to them

While I haven't been in a situation as bad as yours, I've had a suicidal friend, and it was always draining and hard to speak to him, more so when he was having a bad day.
After High School he has gotten a lot better and it's nice.
So I can understand why you need a break especially since you've got more than one friend who's suicidal, not to mention the other stuff.
I hope things turn out for the better, best wishes.

Jesus, well, if that's the case, the stories can wait, you NEED a break, first fix all of the problems in your life and then try writing stories. Anyway, get better!

That's a mindset I know all too well. It's why I have issues writing anything anymore. If anyone revokes their support just because you need a break from writing due to personal issues then they don't deserve to read your wonderful writing. I hope you get better soon and in the meantime you should find someone you trust to talk to. No one should go through that alone.
