My thoughts on Season 9 being the finale season · 7:27pm Feb 18th, 2019
In short:
Do not cry cause it's over, rejoice that it happened.
In long:
The way I see it, I'm glad that it's ending on a high note. Then again, this isn't exactly an ending... and ending would be where a media is all but forgotten.
Fandoms continue even when a media generation has ending canonically, famous ones to mention are Naruto, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Star Wars, Transformers, Gravity Falls, Dr Who, etc.
I'm glad I became a fan of Gen 4 MLP and writer to it too... and I will still write for Gen 4 for the foreseeable future. Who knows, Gen 5 may hold some flavour to us Gen 4 fans...
So to close this blog off, even if Gen 4 show ends, the fandom will live on for as long as we fans keep liking it (by writing, animating, cosplaying, etc).
If this show is gonna end then I'm glad it's with a bang!
