2019 MLP Marathon Day 17: Episodes 92-98 · 9:27pm Feb 17th, 2019
Before I begin of what i went through of Day 17 of my 2019 MLP Marathon, I want to make a few things clear regarding what Hasbro announced last night: As we know as of yesterday, Hasbro confirmed that Season 9 of MLP FIM will be the final season of the show overall. While most are either Happy that FiM is coming to an end, Sad that it had to end, Mad that Hasbro chose to end it, or a Mix of all three, I however was just caught off guard by that annoucment Hasbro said. When I saw a status update from one of my DA Friends, I thought it was just another False Alarm. But then when one of my friends provided the Journal Entry of a link to that information from EQD.... that's when I was caught Off Guard. What I find really odd though is that Hasbro announced it during Rebecca Shoichet's, aka Sunset Shimmer's Voice Actress and Twilight Sparkle's Singing Voice, 44th Birthday yesterday. I mean seriously Hasbro, you could of just waited a few days later instead of announcing it during a MLP Voice Actresses's Birthday. :/
Although with FiM ending after it's 9th Season, this leaves a bigger question: What will become of EG though?
Anyways.... now that it is out of the way.....

Yeah that was a rather bad thing to announce the end of FiM during her birthday party. Hell they could have even waited until the following day to do it. I am saddened by the fact that there will be no new episodes after season 9 is done but there will still be reruns and one thing is for certain, I will continue to write as long as there is demand for it.

Whether or not it will never die I'm not sure. I'm sure we will remain in a much smaller form with only those of us true MLP fans remaining in a few years. Regarding G5, I have a feeling that while some of us will move on to that generation, some of us may not care for it and stick to G4. I also see G5 perhaps bringing in new fans that like that generation and view G4 the same way a lot of us view G3 and especially G3.5. I will admit, I'm not looking forward to G5....I have my concerns that if the concept art is right, that they will completely ruin the ponies we love.

Yeah I know that is something that really concerns you given how much you like it. I just wish they'd bring the Dazzlings back, they are the best characters to come out of EqG in my opinion, especially Aria.

That is true. My thoughts go to what will happen once we are all gone from this world. I have a feeling that will be the time that the G4 fandom will likely fade away unless our children and grandchildren are somehow drawn into this generation. I would love to see G4 have fans until the end of the human race but I don't see that happening.
