- My Classic Mode clear scores tell an...interesting story about how competent I am with characters I don't use/haven't used/can't use properly. For most characters, I'm clearing Classic Mode with a score between 250k-350k. For Zero Suit Samus (my main)? 840k.
- Nintendo kind of hates Luigi, don't they? I mean, they go out of their way to make him a whiny bitch.
- I am STILL frequently game-overing myself by losing track of my fighter and just going right the fuck out of bounds with no hope of recovery. I really really hope this is something a lot of players deal with and isn't just a me sucking thing. X_X
-- Though again, the above tends to only happen if I'm using anyone BUT ZS Samus...

Don't worry, I tend to either lose track of my character or fudge up my recovery as well.

When shit hits the fan (which happens frequently in any fight with more than three fighters and items on), it’s hard to pick yourself out of the mess. Classic mode has quite a few missions that fit those criteria.

I lose track of myself frequently

I often either lose track of my character, causing me to fall off, or I focus too much on them and get blindsided.

I'd recommend using a skin/costume that stands out. One of my Mains is Ice Climbers, so I always play as Nana, because she's wearing Hot Pink, as opposed to Popo and his Neutral Blue parka. Not even joking, I CONSTANTLY lose myself if I'm playing as Popo.

Nintendo can do whatever they like. As a little brother myself, I will always side with Luigi over Inferior Red Luigi.

And yeah, it can be easy to lose track of who you're controlling, especially in fights with four or more characters.

I usually use the red colour palette when I select a fighter. I find that that helps me keep track of the fighter I'm controlling more easily, as not that many fighters have a primarily red colour palette as the default (except Mario).

By the way, the intensity in which you start Classic Mode will change your final score, as you'll start with a higher score right off the bat. I believe the reason why your final score with Zero Suit Samus is higher than average is because you're more comfortable using her to clear higher intensities.

Also, have you seen Simon's reveal trailer? Nintendo flat out killed Luigi in that one.

It also helps that I had Tickets when I was playing as ZS Samus, so the all of 3 times I got KOed I didn't lose any Intensity, whereas now I have to buy continues with Gold.

And yeah, I've seen it. Poor guy can NOT catch a break.

Yeah, I lose track of myself quite a bit too. Especially when there's a lot going on.

And Luigi being inexplicably cowardly really has gotten to the point where it's unfunny. At least he gets to succeed sometimes though. (Just look at Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.)
