It was a long slog, but Pony Predators of Equestria is finally ready to be re-uploaded!
By and large, things haven't changed too much, and not as much as I was originally aiming for, but I still like where it ended up. The short version of the main changes being:
1) Everything related to Cloudsdale is gone. It isn't that I didn't like it - a lot of it I actually thought was pretty funny - but it was taking time and words to keep continuing something that was entirely tangential to what was supposed to be the main plot.
2) The changelings are going to play a much smaller role in the story, though they aren't gone entirely like I originally planned - removing them entirely would have ended up making the story a lot more boring and, I think, just worse. Instead, now Fluttershy isn't revealed as a changeling, and Cheerilee and Bon Bon leave Ponyville to go talk to their queens, and so they won't be taking part any further in the current story. If I have the time and motivation to make the sequel though, that would focus on them and changelings in general.
3) Everything going forward. Bits and pieces I will probably re-use, but the direction the story will go is different from what I had originally planned with the first version of the story, with the added bonus that I now actually have an idea of what the ending might be and how I'll get there.
Chapters will be uploaded one per day until I get through what I'm keeping from the first version of the story, and then after that it's just however long it takes for me to get back into the swing of writing new stuff again.
