Characters

Coven of the Thirteen - A small, secretive organization commissioned by Magnus the Red to bear, transport, and occasionally research or transcribe eldritch/occult artifacts or knowledge picked up or plundered during the Great Crusade (or else purloined/discovered/gained during meditations into the Immaterium) while away from Prospero. Librarians are of all fellowships and cults. While librarians lead and personally handle/maintain the objects or study the findings, the main body is made up of squads of marines from separate fellowships (same fellowship as where librarians came from), thirteen for every librarian. Thirteen librarians = 169 marines under their command.
Of the thirteen, nine remain after the massive, albeit failed raid by the Craftworld Eldar. The 169 has been depleted to 112.

Librarians:
Ahzrykhal Hussaen - (Az-re-call Huh-sane) Librarian, former Magister Templi of the Cult of the Raptora (telekines), and leader/Magister of the "Coven of the Thirteen." Ceded Magister Templi position in the Raptora to join the Coven. Firm but fair with the men under his command. Also a bit eccentric, but his brothers presume it's a relatively harmless consequence of his many mental ventures into the Immaterium during his meditations. His telekinetic powers are unrivaled by the others in the Coven; he often invokes the "rock beats laser/rocks fall, everyone dies" approach to large hordes of enemies, force-style. Can invoke powers to mentally crush oncoming enemies like tin cans, or levitate them into the air and use them as meatshields. Has a perplexing symbiotic relationship with a strange faceless Warp entity unaligned with Chaos that he often confers to in secret. Referred to mostly as "the Nightgaunt", it is a creature only a select few of Ahzrykhal's brethren know about.
Ozharas Sek - (Oze-har-as Sec) Librarian, apprentice in the coven to Ahzrykhal. Soft spoken and asocial, though gets to loud and roaring when in combat. In spite of being a psyker, he somehow became friends with a Null Maiden of the Sisters of Silence, if very briefly (time-warpy hijinx cut off any further ties). Very intrigued to an almost worrisome degree with soulless blanks and their capabilities, and it took a bit of a toll on his health due to being in constant proximity to them until joining the Coven. Talented duelist with blades; carries a specially forged force khopesh with him.
Jonah Xon - (Joe-nah Zon) Librarian, apprentice ranking in the Coven.
Hyzdhaar Shar Ra - (Hiz-dharr Shar Ra) Librarian, junior ranking in the Coven. Scholarly, inquisitive, refined. Former pupil to Ahzrykhal. Loves analyzing artifacts and alien items with an almost childlike glee; relishes in being able to do so before most other members of the Thousand Sons.
Phorus U'Nirr - (For-us Oo-Near) Librarian, junior ranking in the Coven
Sadys Hyrek/"The Sapphire Flame" - (Say-deez Hi-wreck) Librarian, senior ranking in the Coven, second in command to Ahzrykhal. Member of Cult of the Pyrae (pyrokines). Loves exercising the full might of his power in combat, especially in the form of setting people on (blue) fire. In spite of his age and experience, he's quite the gadfly of an otherwise strict sect of the legion. Known to play pranks on his fellow astartes, with one joke most infamously involving sneakily lighting up the cloth portion of their uniforms (harmless to marine, but often startles them (and ruins a fine cloth piece)), mostly to entertain passing children and citizens on Prospero. Got to the point that his fellow librarians "convinced" him to join the Coven of the Thirteen on threat of penalty. Now he makes do with what he has, but only cautiously; acts with complete seriousness and a wary eye when the situation demands it or when in the presence of fragile loot and artifacts.
Tyhsane Rol - (Ty-sane Rol) Librarian, senior ranking in the Coven, brother to Muzdi. Cult of the Athanaeans (telepaths).
Muzdi Rol - (Muz-dee Rol) Librarian, senior ranking in the Coven, brother to Tyhsane. Cult of the Corvidae (precognition).
Baeidat Almadaa - (Bi-dat Al-maa-da) Librarian, junior ranking in the coven.

Marines:
Phiro Zahorras - (Fi-ro Za-horr-ahs) Marine under Sadys Hyrek. Acts as leader of the other 169 marine soldiers when their commanding librarians are not acting for them. Strict disciplinarian, but does not refuse to put himself before his men when he can. Fights on the front lines. Not a psyker, but seems to have a potent intuition.

Space Wolves:
(will be added soon)

Chaos Space Marines:
Isra the Crowkeeper - (Iz-ra) An exalted Sorcerer of the Thousand Sons traitor legion. Has been around since Horus threw his surprise birthday bash fun bus extravaganza. Fought on Prospero when the Space Wolves ransacked it; hates them with a cool passion. Voice is smooth and refined, like (evil) wine. Has a "pet" raven ever perched on his shoulder, and a long-beaked helm reminiscent of one.

Story:
Prologue) -
Ch. 1) - The crew of the Eye of Heka awakens on the from where they lay on the floor or against the battered walls of their vessel, from what feels like a brief slumber filled with copious, blurred, and altogether nightmarish visions of a galaxy slowly being lit aflame and monstrous entities, familiar or otherwise, laughing in the far distance. Ahzrykhal himself awakens to see the Ebon Sphere still on the pedestal before him where he and a few other librarians used their combined psychic might to trigger it, though it seems to have faded from pitch, lightless black to dull stony grey in texture. After gaining a stable grip on the situation, they count their numbers immediately, see who is dead and who is still living, and find all who died and were collected from the Eldar raid are still dead and cold, while all who were living during the Sphere's activation are still alive and well, if "a little drowsy." They emerge from the now semi-receded warp storm with relative ease, but knowing the Eye of Heka might not be able to hold out for long, due to the damage gained from both the Eldar and the warp storm before deciding to use the sphere, Ahzrykhal gives the order to send out a distress beacon to whatever Astartes legion is closest to their position.

Aaaand that's it for now. Feel free to add in, if you wanna leave your mark! If I accept new ideas, I will post appropriate credit if story is made. Might need, specifically, help with Space Wolves characters (don't know much about them, really. Like, I know the basics and their secrets and their relations with their wolves and Fenris itself, but not much traditionally and personality-wise).
