New group

So, as some of you know, I occasionally play chess. However, I noticed the distinct lack of a dedicated chess group on fimfiction, which was weird, given the groups on fimfic sometimes get almost as specific as derpibooru tags ("chessboard incorrectly oriented", anyone?). Don't worry, though, it's already fixed. I present to you my new group:

Sadly, I am terrible at chess. I'm too accustomed to strategy games with some degree of informational opacity at work, to say nothing of strategic asymmetry. If you can see everything I'm doing and we're both limited to the same set of moves, how am I supposed to win? Fair fights are for suckers.

You'd be surprised how many people are struck my chess blindness: I put together a horribly obvious attack and yet, they somehow can't see it until it's too late (especially since I often use an opening trick that, while easy to prevent, usually ends up with the opponent losing a rook – so I'm not above kneecapping the opponent). But then, I also play Civilisation and I tend to go for enemies with poor tech and surprise attacks from two or more sides.
