Evening everyone
Damn it, I tried really hard to get everything done this week, but as it is said, life mirrors art, and so here I am with... technically enough for a chapter, but it doesn't end where I want it to, so I'm not putting it out yet. Like a Dream Come True was going to be a long chapter from the outset, but I'm really hoping that it doesn't turn into another 3 parter. My poor editor, my poor wallet. By the time all is said and done, I'll have spent like 2000 on my Bronycon trip and I really don't expect to sell all my copies of this book, so I'll be eating a few of those, or most of them, who knows.
As far as Super goes, I think I'm adding in some extra stuff that I realized I needed after going back through the story. I've gone through and edited close to 1/3rd of the story now (up to Caballo day as of Dream come true pt1), so things have been changed added and moved around so long as it had little impact or better foreshadowed what happens later on. (i.e. goose is made mention of much earlier now, Applejack makes mention of her own missing memories, Everypony's powers are corrected to what they actually are instead of whatever idea I had floating around at the time, etc, etc.) and I'm sure there will be even more consistency across the board after my editor gets to it.
While I'm doing this, I've also taken up some side projects for my bosses and a friend of mine that should hopefully net me some more cash for these books to get printed along with all the other shit I've got going on. I made a 1/10th contribution to my bike, so that will be paid off by October at the latest provided I don't just knock that bitch out the park by the summer, and my bronycon fund is 250 away from being complete. (That's just the fund to go, not necessarily all the money I will spend getting there and so on.)
That said, paying bills has had me spend like 800 today, and I've still got a week and a half before I get paid again, so... ramen is fine, right? I ran the ship at work the past few days because my boss had to take a sudden trip, and I made it through without drowning the crew or letting things catch on fire, so I can confidently say that I might be able to sail on my own in the near future. and I will have to for a few days in may since my boss is planning a trip with his wife. Of course, we don't know if my grandfather will make it to next week, and my grandmother isn't in good shape either, and relationships there are beginning to get tense, so who knows what's going to happen! All the while, my outlook remains positive for good things to happen in the future whether or not I know it, so let's sing a song of hope and pray for things to continue as they are: fine.
Anyways, that's just about all from me. If not Thursday, expect a chapter on Monday because it will be done by then.
You guys have a good week. Remember that as long as you trust, things will be fine no matter how life decides to turn. Hope is really nice to have.
