OKAY BUT WHY
I really don't know why so many people are following me. Six hundred of you is a lot. It's more than I can fit on the futon. I don't think I can ration the Ritz crackers well enough between six hundred people who have decided that I'm worth following. Some of you have been around for over five years since I joined this site in '15.
This is very confusing, but also potentially flattering.
If I really think about it, I'm not an especially vocal part of anything. I don't see my username tossed around with any recognition, I don't really review anything, and I generally have the social presence of a snail in a parking lot, but no one has poured salt on me yet. I do write a lot, but there's at least half this site that's dedicated to being a big ol' social butterfly and people actually talking with one another.
All I do is write stuff, and I probably haven't even been writing a lot of stuff lately. Really makes me wonder about how six hundred of y'all still managed to read my stuff.
Thanks anyway, but I think it's about time I got more crackers.
Hecking Word Updates:
- I think I have a review outline somewhere on my computer that I should go find and write in full and publish in a bloggo. I rarely do these, so it's probably worth noting.
- My latest project, Enemy of Mine is actually having progress happen. I just want to disconnect, write ahead a few chapters, and really focus on it. So far, I'm nearly done and have over 40k words piling up. I still have to edit all of them. (That's probably not going to be fun.)
- That's about it, I guess, unless you wanna do this.
