    Apologies for lack of Updates

As many may have become aware, aside from the latest chapter to I'm Peni Parker. What the FUCK? I haven't updated any of my fics since last week, despite saying in my latest update for Peni that i intended to return to posting fic updates.

knowing about Spring Breakdown is a serious advantage

Something occurred, like FULLY occurred to me over the week, specially Wednesday morning (1:45am) as i was brushing my teeth before heading for bed.

We're back... but it's likely slow going.

So, in answer to the MANY people who keep asking when i'm going to update any of my fics despite my having a blog that explains WHY they've ALL been left unupdated over the last 3-4 months, my library is open again, so i should be able to finally get back to writing.

Time skips · 12:52am Jan 19th, 2019

so, I've honestly been struggling with two fics because how long it will take from their current point to getting to season 7, the movie and season 8, where the main characters' presence changes a lot of things and i really wanna get to them and having to write them into all those episode events or even in passing of them is seriously dragging me down.

so, i'm going to try time skips so i can get to key moments. it does mean i'll have to summarize any involvement the characters logically would've had in other episodes, but i don't think i can keep my stories' quality up if i try inserting them into all the episodes.

for reference, i am strictly talking about It's A Screwed Up Life and Twilight's Twinlight. both are either still at the early stages of seasons 6 or 5, respective to each one.

so, after much thought, i have decided there will be time skips in both. i just can't write all the episodes in, nor logically write several into one chapter without things getting complicated. there are KEY episodes each will still take part in, but others i am going to have to skip over and simply summarize the main characters' parts in.

i hope everyone understands. i just really need to get to the movie and into season 8, being so far behind with both is starting to drive my crazy.

and, yes, if it isn't obvious, Tempest's invasion of Canterlot won't go nearly as smoothly in Twilight's Twinlight as it did in the movie for a very obvious reason. Ken isn't stupid.

With Screwed up life you could just do an Ep/chapter with Screwy "Talking to the audience ala Pinkie Pie" about Past events and how she'd opted to just let things play out as she saw no real need to interfere?

Makes sense, unless you're going completely off the rails there really is no point in doing every episode.

Any idea when an update on "Call of a Raven" will come out?

I think you don't have to strickly follow the timeline in Screwed Up Life, since you already stated that in the super squeezy 6000 chapter. Time skip or just casually mention in the pass would be acceptable. Sometimes trying to follow the canon too much and your story get derail easily.
