Really Important Update an Apologies! I NEVER GIVE UP! · 10:39am Jan 18th, 2019
First off, I need to apologize about the fact that I haven't updated you or anything. Second, I want to Clarify that I have not given up on the 'Scars of Our Past.' Audio book or the sequel, 'Tears of Sunlight'.
I really don't like putting stuff like this on here but you guys deserve some sort of explanation as to why it is taking so long. Over Christmas sucked, A LOT. Literally the worst Christmas EVER. It started with my 5 year-old sister's father deciding he didn't want to be my mom's friend and that we weren't (Quote) "his family." meaning he wouldn't be spending Christmas with us or his daughter. Because of the stress of it, we actually pospones Christmas a week, until new years. On new years day, at about 3 am, we had to take my mom's cat, Max, to the vet. We ended up putting him down 2 hours later. Another week passed, our land lords decide they want to move back, so, we are getting evicted and the management company has swung it so we have to be out in 3 months. Then if that weren't bad enough, a few days after THAT, we get served court papers, turns out my sister's father wants joint custody. So now we have to fight to protect the 5 year-old. I have to fight along side my mom only because she wants me to be her legal guardian.
Now, joint custody wouldn't be a bad thing IF we trusted him. He is careless, like extremely. When my sister was 3, he almost let her drown when he was RIGHT NEXT TO HER because he was looking at my mom WHO BTW didn't want a relationship with him outside of friendship for my sister's sake. I was the one who pulled her out and she hasn't liked swimming since. He winnings her around extremely fast by her arms and he doesn't even understand that my sister HATES being away from home. She legitimately wanted to stay home from school because she is afraid her dad is going to take her away. Other than that, his driving is reckless and he is a narcissist who mentally abused me until I was 16! He also can't seen to take "I don't want to be with you" for an answer because he has been pursuing my mom after she broke it off to the point that I had to intervene (as asked of me by my mom) because he tires ti kiss her.
Other than those things, I was working ALL Christmas and I had that NaNoWriMo thing in November.
another thing with the audio book as well, Some of the VA's that I hired just didn't get back to me so I haven't even been able to finish the Chapter 2 Audio. Plus I have to fix the Scripts.
Now, as you can see there is a lot of stress that has been going on since before the holidays and will probably carry into February (Court date on the 14th) PLUS, I have school coming up. I promise I will work hard to complete my projects that I have promised. If I absolutely HAVE to drop one of them, at least temporarily, I will. That is only a last resort though. If either of them need to be dropped, I might have to be the audio book. That or I will let you guys decide.

I hope you'll be able to gain custody over her and that he'll stop his advances. If you need anyone for the audiobook, I'd love to try it, I just saw that you were doing it to late to send an entry.
