    Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀☘️

Currently doing a bar crawl in Downtown (ok so we started in Corktown and are making our way through any good AVAILABLE bar today) with some friends and a couple of co-workers of mine, who we unintentionally ran into. Turns out great minds think alike! Ironically I'm the "Uber Call Girl" tonight so...unfortunately can't get TOO wasted (plus I actually have work tomorrow...couldn't call off).

Happy Diamond Anniversary "Motown Records" · 5:22am Jan 12th, 2019

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is I, your humble Phoenix Queen and lover of all things music. Here this morning to celebrate a special anniversary. Today 60 years ago exactly, Motown Records was launched right in my hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Now Motown has an extensive history and how it shaped and paved a road in the music industry, for not only producing such musical acts as The Temptations, The Jackson 5, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Stevie Wonder and so many more! Yet also being the First record lable primarily owned and run by a Black staff and production company. The family that started Motown, the Gordy's (Founder Berry Gordy Jr. and his family) quickly became one of the fastest growing rich names in the music industry. So much so that they eventually moved production to California, while the original building where "Hitsville, USA" still stands is now immortalized as the "Motown Museum" (a place where I have been on many a class field trips and once was in a talent show hosted near there). Now, to wrap up my little history lesson, I'd like to share a collection of some of Motown's Greatest Hits from various artists. Enjoy!:
