Update (not that kind) · 8:13pm Jan 11th, 2019
So, I'm busy with exams atm. My brain is a very loud and confusing heap and some new exciting ideas floated to the surface which I felt I'd announce. Maybe I'd even get useful feedback for once.
I got an epiphany on which direction I want to take the story you guys like me to work on. I also had one thing to ask you guys.
Regarding the newly named 'Acheron's wife, I was thinking she would have a name deficit same as him since it's a liability, but recently I figured that perhaps the Necromancer would just place protections on her instead. After all, he let her keep her eyes as well. So. What do you guys think, you want me to mash together some weird elven Japanese/German sounding name for her or do you want me to give her a fresh start for her new life and just pretend like her old name never existed?
I kinda think a new name would be a good idea, I guess?
No reason to ignore any possible attack vectors; after all, if his protections were that good (though I suppose they may have been developed later), he might have kept his own name.

They met near the end of his stay on Vertigus, he had plenty of time to develop alternatives. He also would've likely used those less unseemly alternatives on himself for his spouse's sake before she died... Yeah, I think it would be best to just stick to the 'out with the old, in with the new' bit I did, if only for the sake of keeping things simple. Plus, Google Translate isn't reliable...
Thanks for the input!
