I'm going to be honest here. I never thought I would complete this story. Since I first came to this site I have been slowly working on it, so it's always been this nagging presence, a constant reminder of things left unfinished. And now it's gone. It's like a had a monkey sitting on my shoulder all this time, constantly yelling at me to work on it, but now that it's complete he's just running around screaming, "What is the meaning of my existence!"
The story has changed a lot from my original idea--for the better I assure you. Considering the original idea had Human Twilight helping hold off an invasion of Equestria from some random nation, while also having flashbacks to her time in the human world, oh and the Changelings were going to be in Equestria, because you know, why not.
But despite how long I dragged my heels writing this story, despite how much I grew sick of this story and hated writing it, it is done. But I couldn't have finished this story without the continued support of the people who read and favored the story. As corny as that sounds, I'm being serious. There were times when the only thing that kept me writing was a random favorite here or there-- why people felt this story was good enough to earn a favorite I will never know. I remember one comment that said something along the lines of "I like this story when is the next chapter coming out," and I was like, "man, now I have to finish this story,"
So to everyone who as read the story, whether you liked it or not, you have my thanks. 
Now I guess I'll go put that monkey to work on that other chapter story I'm working on.
