update 2. · 7:35am Jan 8th, 2019
alrighty! so couple of things. first and foremost, my computer came along nicely. i did it all myself (im so proud! meh.) however, a few complications arose from it. i found out my heat sync for my processor kinda dangles because one of the prongs that hold it in place is missing. so i need to do something about that, but for now the temporary fix is to prop it up with a book. (terrible idea, i know, but its only til i figure something out. no point in buying a new heat sync if the one i have still works (kinda)).
secondly, i had that discussion i mentioned in the last blog post with a bud of mine whos usually really good at discussing things (weird when i put it that way, but thats essentially what happened.) we talked, and they gave me an interesting perspective on said character. not much else to say about this cuz i dont wanna spoil anything, but lets just say things are looking alright in my head. (at least to my own standards, so hopefully they'll match yours too!)
next up, i go back to school soon. like... tommorow soon. i legit have to be up in a few hours as i write this, and i still dont plan on going to bed soon, so im setting myself up for failure, but thats my choice. this is a good and bad thing. good because i might end up with some free time to allow me to write (cuz i dont rly have much else to do during free time. sure, i could look at memes, which i do if theres no computer available, but i try to get done what i can). but i'll try to get the next chapter done.
which leads into my next point! progress on the next chapter will proceed soon. ive got most (roughly 40%) in my head of how i want it to go, and that % is still going up. i know its a lil disheartening that it hasnt even been started yet, but i promise i will get on it and that this isnt me just being like "oh, i'll get to it i swear" and never actually doing it. i hate people who do that, and i hate myself when i do it. but this story has gotten a bit of attention, so i dont wanna disappoint. next chapter should be out in roughly 2 weeks or so? i hate giving myself a time frame because i dont know if i'll actually make it, but we'll see. but it wont take a year for another chapter then waiting like another 6 months before the next one. that wont happen for damn sure.
i know it doesnt seem like it just judging from this post, but i do proof all my own writing and take the extra time to make sure everything fits properly. so it does take a while, but i try to do it as fast as i can.
next point, addressing some of the comments from the previous blog post. starting from the most recent, Ryza. sorry, but you can't really help. i appreciate the offer tho!
