Hi again, everyone! I have some news.
I edited the story Jimmy Hook Turns Into... due to the things I mentioned on the last post. But then I discovered FimFiction also doesn't allow stories that have multiple chapters as separate stories, so I decided to not publish it here.
That doesn't mean I'll stop writing it! I'm gonna relocate the story to my DeviantArt page:
https://www.deviantart.com/discordthenarrator
I'll do some things, like moving the first chapters there, and then I'll continue with the next ones.
Anyways, thanks for understanding.
You have a DeviantArt account? How about that!

Yep!

Though, here's an idea: why not put it up on fanfiction.net also?
4991449
Oh? I didn't think about it.
4991454
That way you get around both the meta and multiple character problems.
4991462
Oh, sounds good! Thanks for the idea, friend.

No problem.
I've had another idea; why not split the chapter writing between multiple people? That'd get around the problem too.
Why does this prevent you from publishing it here? If it's a multi-chapter story, then you can just post the individual chapters as part of the same story submission, as usual.

You mean as if they were normal stories?
4992646
Normal? What gives it the status of not being a normal story? I meant publishing the individual chapters like this:

Judging by your comments, it's a multi-chapter story, so I don't see why you can't publish it like one as usual.

Ok, I'll tell you:
The story I'm currently writing is one where a character turns into a lot of female characters from MLP. And every chapter has some events including a transformation. If I publish a story having all of those chapters, technically it is a story with multiple chapters as separate stories.
Get what I'm trying to say?

I see what you mean. It's basically a couple smaller stories that have the same theme and are set in the same continuity, but they don't form an overarching plot together. It's not a story where you have to read each chapter to understand the big picture, but each story can instead be read and understood individually, without having to read any of the other stories of that continuity.
So, you're not writing a multi-chapter story, but merely an anthology of stand-alone stories. For stories like this, if you really want to do that, you can use the "Anthology" tag. This tag is specifically there to release several smaller stories as part of the same submission.
Plus, even before this tag existed, it was still not rule-breaking to release a couple of one-shots as an anthology or compilation inside the same submission. I did that in 2014 during NaPoWriMo and it was approved just fine:

But you also don't have to do that. One-shots and stand-alone stories can always be released as single story submissions here, even if they are part of the same continuity and have a certain theme in common with each other. If the plot of such stand-alone stories is, aside from the theme that connects them, very different in each one, it is best to submit them as single stories because this allows you to write an individual description for each story to give a better idea of what is happening in it, which is something you can't do well inside the same submission.
If the difference between the individual stories is minor, however, releasing them in the same submission and putting the "Anthology" tag on it would be the best strategy, as the reader can already guess what is going on in each story then and therefore, doesn't need to read a description of the story first.

Sounds nice. But I already have another option.

It's up to you, whether you want to have the original version of the story on Deviantart or the rule-conform one here. But if you ever write another series of one-shots like this, you know what you can do now.

Thank you, dear friend.
