Time Is Precious · 1:36pm Jan 3rd, 2019
I'm back with another ramble, only this one is more of why I don't upload as...frequent as I would like.
Time.
Yeah, now, I ain't gonna go into some 'deeper meaning' BS, but I wanted to explain how my way of writing and uploading works. You see, I have two sites I write on, this site, and Quotev, both of which have stories I've written or currently writing. So far, I'm working on something for near the end of January, being based on SAO: Hollow Fragment. But due to my actual life [Full-Time Job], I have to crunch down on what I can focus on, and I chose SAO over the rest for a good reason.
I write to improve and enjoy myself. Not saying I haven't had fun seeing the comments on Actualization Online, but I can't focus on both, all their quirks and story elements are far too deep to keep a focus on. In a way, I wrote a bunch for Actualization, and I enjoyed it, but writing about ponies for the rest of the year isn't a particular setting I had in mind, it would be difficult to explain to those I know how my story is going in terms of progress without making out to me a....strange individual. Hey, no one said liking a show about talking ponies was going to be normal. But for me, I want to do something I enjoy, not something I feel I'm forced to write.
To sum up, Time is truly a gift, and we as writers are forced to chose our points in time wisely, between writing and keeping an actual roof over our heads, it's pretty obvious which one takes the top spot [Obviously writing]. If I have time or motivation, I do intend to upload, but don't hold your breath for an average writer like me.
Sincerely,
Slendy
