Happy New Year · 5:09pm Jan 1st, 2019

And Happy Universal Birthday to the Thoroughbreds of the Northern Hemisphere. (Southern Hemisphere TB's have theirs on Aug.1)

Hope 2019 finds you all well.

Amazing we've go to 2019, and I'm still here, blogging on this site.

In about five months from now, on the first Saturday in May, they'll begin celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the American Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, a feat first achieved by the honoree of this author's page, Sir Barton. There have since been 12 others, most recently Justify, who coincidentally somewhat resembles the elder champion, a chestnut coat with a broad white blaze and no socks. The main difference, Justfy's blaze narrows at the top, where Sir Barton's broadens.
