2018 - Review of the Year · 4:20pm Dec 30th, 2018
Where do I begin?
It goes without saying that I haven't done much writing this year; in fact, looking at my Stories list shows I've only written five new ones. It also goes without saying that I have failed to update my old stories, despite saying at one point or another that I would. I have several that are still marked as Incomplete, or need to be rewritten in their entirety (Geoverse stories in particular).
So, what are my plans for 2019? Well, I have a few, but bear in mind these are my plans; they are not promises, as I cannot guarantee that I will actually do anything that I'm saying.
1) For starters, I want to finish all my currently Incomplete stories.
2) I'd like to write more Geoverse stories, but I've noticed that view counts have been dropping consistently as the series goes on. I'm not sure if this is down to people either not knowing about new stories in the series, or just not caring about it at all.
3) Speaking of the Geoverse, I'd like to see more people making use of the forum on the group that I created for it. Discussions about favourite stories, characters, or suggestions for new stories... anything!
4) I'd like to be able to produce content more regularly, and thus justify having a Patreon page. I have started making GMod comics again, so perhaps I could combine the two...
5) I'd like to get involved in collaborations, be they organised by me or someone else.
This is just for starters; I may decide that there are other things I would like to do as time goes on.
I am fully aware that I've been a bit inactive lately, but that's down to Real Life(TM) kicking the everloving crap out of me on a regular basis. Finding a job in the area where I live when you don't drive is extremely difficult, but I need to find a job if I want to go to conventions and what not; I've missed the last two BronyScots because I didn't have enough money, and I do NOT want to make that three in a row.
Anyway, I'm rambling on again.
To all of you, I wish you a very Happy New Year, and all the best for 2019. And again, thank you so much for sticking with me all this time, even if I do feel as though I'm letting you down by not posting anything other than the occasional blog.
Stay awesome.
