Happy Holidays. (Chapter 73 of Long Haul is out!)

Howdy again everyone! I hope everyone's had an enjoyable and happy set of holidays! It's Friday, so as per usual, yet another new chapter of Long Haul has gone up for you all! With this chapter, we begin the closing of the Northern and Cantercross Arc of the story. It's funny to me, because the whole Cantercross saga with Mr. Wizard, the Factory, and Cordite was only supposed to be a few chapters long each originally. Now, a year later, I am once again un-surprised that it sort of exceeded it's original size. But, as I've learned over the nearly six years I've been in this fandom, stories tend to run long, and that's okay so long as it's still progressing! There's still going to be a few chapters left where I wrap up all of the northern arcs here, but Solomon has headed south, and so Night and his friends have to follow!

However, as much as I've enjoyed writing this story, sometimes real life gets in the way. So as it sits right now, with the uncertainty of where I'll be living in the next couple of months or so, I'm going to need to take my focus off of the story for a bit. While I still have my backlog, I'm announcing that for the month of January, only one chapter will go up. I know this is disappointing to some, but hopefully I can get my living situation sorted fast enough where it doesn't become an issue in following months. Of course, I'll keep you all updated on things, as the blog posts are still something I can put up every other Friday. But you all know how that goes by now, so just keep tuned for more updates.
