People I Am Grateful For This Holiday Season

Today is Christmas and in the spirit of the holiday season, I want to take some time to talk about people in my life who I am grateful for.

I am grateful to God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit who have seen me through many hardships and who have inspired me to have hope throughout the years.

I am grateful to my boyfriend who lifted me up in a dark time and has helped me to become better a little bit every day. He is an amazing person and I am blessed that he is in my life. He has helped me to overcome so many things. And I'm becoming stronger each day because of his influence. I am eternally thankful for his understanding, compassion, and love.

I am grateful to everyone on Fim Fiction and other sites (like DeviantArt and so on) who have been supportive of me and my creative projects.

I am grateful for all of the friends I have met on Fim Fiction and on other sites who have been a great support to me over the years.

I am grateful to my mom who has been an amazing support to me my entire life. She has always encouraged me and made me feel like I can keep going on when I feel like I have been stuck or frustrated. I am grateful for any other family who has stuck with my mom and I through our hardships.

I am grateful for my 8th grade teacher Mrs. Jones who brought homework by my house when I missed school for a year, due to a suicide attempt and other health issues I was struggling with. Because she brought a card by that encouraged me to keep going, it motivated me to go back to school and complete my 8th grade year the last couple of months of my 8th grade year in person.

I am grateful for my 9th grade Earth Science teacher who recognized I had a talent for science and helped get me special scholarships and awards related to science because she saw my potential in the subject where other teachers didn't due to having somewhat of a reputation for not being a good student in other classes.

I am grateful for all of the teachers I had in all levels of school who recognized my potential to be a good student and helped me to succeed.

I am grateful to my boss Jim from a pizza place I worked at who has always been very nice to me. I am grateful for nice bosses or coworkers I encountered at jobs in general who helped me feel less intimidated about being around people at my jobs (due to my social anxiety).

I am grateful for my friends Sarah and Anthony who helped get me out of my abusive household and offered me a place to stay when I needed it.

I am grateful for my friend Jackie who offered a lot of support to me when I was leaving my abusive household and has been a good friend to me in general.

I am grateful for my friends Liz, Erika, Theresa, and Heather who have always stuck by me and been a great support in my time of need.

I am grateful for my friends James and Kyle who I was in some bands with for a while and continue to be good friends.

I am grateful to my friends Vanessa, Jessica, Chris, Jacob, Ian, Pat, and others from my hometown who have always been supportive of my creative projects and have been supportive to me in general.

I am grateful to my friends Connie, George, Craig, and other people I met in the Valley who I worked on creative projects with for a while. I appreciate the things I learned from them while working on creative projects with them.

I am grateful to every positive influence I have ever had in my life. They are truly a blessing and treasures I don't want to misplace. I wish them all happiness, success, and a blessed New Year filled with all sorts of opportunities to fulfill their dreams.
