So this is a gift from Nethlarion from the Russian Translation team that works on putting the mess of horsewords that is Speak into Russian! And... they are super amazing at it, and I have had so much fun working with them to try to help translate my Americanisms into something that is actually halfway understandable. The amazing AnticularPony is the artist for this utterly adorable image, and I'm so very happy to have it. I love my darling little lesbian horses, and even though Threnody is super tsundere about it, she really does care for Blackjack a lot.
I recently did a podcast with Fuzzy and CaptainHoers, and one of the things that came up as we discussed the 3rd arc of Fallout: Equestria was how there is a theme of created family that Kkat wrote into her story. I think this is super important. In the LGBT community, it's depressingly common to not have the best relationship with your natal family. Anyone who has read my blogs or Speak knows I might have a few issues with mine. But realistically, that's why created family is so very important. The pony community has largely become my created family in this way. I hope that everyone has a good holiday. I know it's often stressful, and you may be forced to be around people you'd rather not see. Or maybe you're not able to see who you want to, and have to spend what is supposed to be about friends and family alone. I know that's hard and it hurts. But I want you all to know that you're a huge part of my created family, and I wouldn't trade any of you for the world.
Hopefully I'll be able to get chapter 2 of Synchronicity out by the end of the week, and I'm working on 18 of Speak. But for now, have a lovely Hearth's Warming Eve and Hearth's Warming Day to all. Thank you all so much for being you!

I dunno. I like spending the holidays alone, usually. I ended up getting dragged back to my roommate's parent's home because apparently you're 'not supposed to be' according to his mom. But I don't mind being cliche, in my own way.
