Chrysalis Album Discography 1: Island era · 4:54pm Dec 23rd, 2018

The first album releases from Chrysalis were released on Island. They used Island's ILPS 9000 series.

The first three albums used the 1967 Island label design, which had an orange and black "eyeball" logo to the left and (occasionally) the Chrysalis logo to the right.

Copies of those three sometimes had the early 1969 "block I" label and the "white I" label which came shortly afterward.

In 1970, the green Chrysalis label appeared. It had the familiar Chrysalis logo in red at the bottom and a text ring at the top in white reading: "STEREO MANUFACTURED AND DISTRIBUTED BY ["white I"] ISLAND RECORDS, BASING ST. LONDON STEREO".
