I can't think of a good bullshit quote that doesn't sound like a 12 year old wrote it. Have a Fluttershy as an apology. :yay:

Been a while since you guys have heard from me, eh? Well, a new job combined with school, and a bunch of family stuff makes it a tad hard to follow any schedules (not that I had any to begin with). For those of you who are purely interested in stories, in terms of Sisters, I do have most of the third chapter written. I have to finish up one perspective of one of the sisters, then a general

The (confirmed) end of Guardian of Equestria

Welp, the masses have spoken! With a majority of 12 votes, option 1 is the winner! In turn, Guardian of Equestria: Redux (name subject to change) will be in the works some time in the future! For a bit of info, Heaross will remain the main character, yet instead of being set at the beginning of season four, the new fic will instead start at season one. Trust me, I'm really going to enjoy showing

The (possible) end of Guardian of Equestria

Guys, I have been talking with Azzy. In his own words to understand my plight, "the train has broken down and either needs to be pushed, or needs new wheels." Guardian of Equestria, while I am happy with the story, has lost my interest. Now, I do have a few answers to why. One, I want to redo earlier chapters as well as start the story from the beginning of MLP instead of at season 4. Two, I want

I have to finish up one perspective of one of the sisters, then a general perspective and then get it reviewed by Azzy, who's also been a bit busy.

In terms of Guardian, the progress on the last chapter for the old version is... Eh? Maybe halfway, maybe less, I'm not sure. I originally planned on it being another crossover, again with Mike, just for shits and giggles, but considering that it's going to be the last chapter, I'm going to restructure it into not being a crossover. Sorry Mike. For the last one, I'll give a teaser of what the Redux Heaross will be like, and showing off a few new things I'm in the process of planning. Since Redux will start at season 1 instead of 4, I'm going to be practically restructuring the line. And as for what Heaross will be doing in Redux? Well, I won't go into any real details right now, buuuuuuuuut...

Spoilers below for those who don't want to read! For those staying away from spoilers, I will see you hopefully soon! For those reading on, enjoy! Also, do keep in mind that this is planning. There is every chance it won't be included in the actual story.

Rainbow Dash looked towards Heaross, waiting for his assessment of Scootaloo. He had said that he was going to do a few tests and make notes of any observations while doing of overview of the filly. Eventually, he finally looked to Dash and gave her a cautious glance. "Well," He said, his deep and rich bass voice commanding respect, "Scootaloo has quite a few interesting things about her. I've already explained the entire Mana Pool and Soul basis, haven't I?" The rainbow maned mare shook her head no. "To make a long explanation short, most beings have something called a 'Mana Pool'. Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a 'Magical Core.' A Mana Pool is what is used to store Mana in a being, and can be increased in size with proper training and care. The Soul, however, is what ties Magic and Mana to a person. In a very broad and partially wrong answer, your Soul is what commands Mana and Magic around you and is strengthened by improving your magical capabilities." He glanced towards Scootaloo before saying, "Of course, this is true for almost all people. The key word in the sentence being 'almost.'"

"Let me guess, either Scoots or me have something really weird and different that lets me do a Sonic Rainboom," Dash guessed in an attempt to be genre savvy.

"Scootaloo does, but not you," Heaross replied. "Your Mana Pool is extremely large, especially for a pegasus, but is otherwise unremarkable. The fact that it is so large is interesting, but that’s it. Scootaloo, on the other hand,” He spared a glance towards the orange filly, “Has something called a ‘Mana Essence’. Whereas a normal Mana Pool is connected to the Soul, with a Mana Essence, the Soul is more closely connected to the body. In a layman’s terms, Scootaloo doesn’t have Mana. At least, not in the traditional sense. Her magic is more closely tied to her body. She can still cast spells, she can fly, and she can do everything that a normal pegasus can, but everything that does require Mana will instead draw upon her energy and lifeforce. She is quite literally using her body to cast spells and fly instead of Mana. As a result, there are certain things that she can do that most can’t. The biggest difference here is that increasing her magic is virtually the same as increasing her bodies limits.”

“This stuff if good to know and all, but what should this mean for my training with her?” Asked Dash petulantly.

“Only three things really. The first is that you need to exercise restraint when training her, especially in magic use. Because she is drawing on her body instead of her Soul, she can potentially die if she uses too much. Of course, that amount of magic to be done is exorbitantly high, but it is still possible. The second is that her potential for improvement is even higher than yours, miss ‘fastest pegasus in Equestria.’” Rainbow Dash did have the sense to look sheepish at the remark. “The final thing is that because of how her magic works, she very possibly has the potential to perform a Sonic Rainboom, even right now.”

“Wait, really?!” Asked Dash, now in Heaross’ face and grinning like a madmare.

“Yes, she can.” The pegasus stopped listening at that point, and did not hear Heaross’ next words. “Of course, the shockwave and extreme use of her magic would kill her right now.”

“Come on Scoots!” Yelled out the pegasus mare, not listening to Heaross. “We’re going to do something awesome!”

Before Rainbow was able to carry Scootaloo even ten feet in the air, Heaross suddenly appeared and snapped his back right hoof into Dash’s spine, sending her crashing into the ground and causing her to release Scootaloo who was caught by Heaross. After he landed and made sure that the filly was unharmed, he angrily marched towards the responsible party.

Rainbow was just standing up when a hoof went to her throat, picked her up, and slammed her back into the ground, again hurting her back and wings. Heaross, furious, shoved his face into the mare’s, and growled out, “If you ever do something that stupid again, I will cut off your wings.”

Thanks for reading! I didn’t get this reviewed by Azzy, so forgive me if I made a mistake. And yeah, Heaross is getting some changes.

Battle On!
