Freddie's using it's Tactical Espionage Combat Method

It's a logical one two since he's a ww2 veteran and most modern-day military combat systems weren't around back then, but were invented because of ww2.

He has there military dogs, a doberman named Diana, an old bloodhound named Bruce he takes on missions and as security, the foxhound is new and being trained but he brought it to meet the boys and Riley. I did find a pic which serves as a good example of what Freddie looked like over his later yearscamo.derpicdn.net/6eb807f0106713d93802cab7c4e4d69664c59b85?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.animenewsnetwork.com%2Fthumbnails%2Fcrop600x315%2Fcms%2Finterest%2F117515%2Fthumb_4fe94042-9adb-4ac0-905d-02068ee21532.jpg left side is when he was head of War Dogs, center is now, left was during ww2. I figure he's got better healing than an average human but he still scars for a while (months to years) but he does heal his scars with proper steps. He's not Deadpool Wolverine, Old man Logan or even Deathstroke, more like Captain America. He's still getting phantom pains and it's getting harder to get the stiffness out of his body, which also hits him with random aches and pains with a snap, crackle and pop not to far behind. In my head the program that made Freddie was an inferior prototype for the one that made Johnny, it's why they're so close to one another, they're probably the only people alive that actually can relate to what happened to them. Would also explain how Freddie met/knew about Johnny, he actively shuts down programs like that to spare people that life. How about all the stories about his Nazi hunting days with his KGB wife, the days of the War Dogs, maybe him showing up and shutting down super soldier projects. Probably also about him killing the really violent mobsters and criminal rings. He may or may have not have been the reason the current most successful and long lasting criminal networks all follow certain universal rules and code of conduct to avoid drawing too much attention from a certain Old Man. Kinda sound familiar? camo.derpicdn.net/ecc56e60bebbe3a1d71e18a033026d26428fc250?url=https%3A%2F%2Fthumbs.gfycat.com%2FSparklingImmaculateBongo-size_restricted.gif Criminal networks call Johnny the Old Dog's Young Pup, they believe he's being groomed to take over for him. They'd rather deal with Freddie because he's diplomatic but Johnny is more blunt, basically Older John Wick or Younger Frank Castle?

And Freddie grew up during ww2 but fought mostly near the end. He started near the tail end of the Russian theater and officially ended with the Pacific theater. Unofficially he and his wife kept hunting for Nazi all the way up to their falling out during the height of the Cold War. War Dogs disbanded four days after December 26, 1991.

Different names Freddie is called Dullahan in Britain. Draugr in northern Europe. El Brujo in south America and Spanish speaking countries. Varðlokkur or Warlock in east Europe. Or different versions of Woden. Cervantes as the assassination killer. His call sign used to be called Bloodhound when he hunted Nazis with his wife and he founded the War Dogs private military forces, and criminals compare him to a Hell Hound because if he tells you he's coming then you know you're going to die.

o his wife tried to kill him. All Black Widow style.
"She shot me in the heart. That's how I knew she loved me."
"What!? How did you figure that?!?" Said (insert someone/pony here)
"She would've shot me in the head, twice, if she didn't," he said.

She was the daughter of a French dancer and her father was a WW 1 vet. Her dad later was an SS officer but was part of Operation Valkyrie. She worked for him and worked as a triple agent for the Soviet. After the failure of Valkyrie she officially became KGB. Freddie was part of the now defunct League of Nations Project Myrmidon, then was currently a part of his own group called War Dogs, and assisting British intelligence then later the French Resistance, and the Allies. They met several times before and during WW2 where he was constantly impressed by her many close success of actually killing him as a SS spy, and her miraculously surviving normally fatal encounters with him. After she became KGB they ended up working as partners many times and became "intimately familiar" with each other. After the war both worked as independent Natzi hunters, she with KGB and he as a now UN sanctioned Bloodhound Operative. However he was extensively liaison to the CIA. Which would later come back to bite him. After they married they moved to Ukraine and continued working but her loyalty to the USSR was eventually questioned and you can figure out the rest. No kids, though not for lack of trying.

Cervantes Federico Merovingi el Batallador, 94 years of age aka Grandpa Freddie. He knows both Johnny and Tyler's past and instinctively assumed a paternal role. He doesn't boss them around nor does he expect them to follow his suggestions, he simply offers them advice and gives his opinion on a matter. In my head he saw Johnny as a kindred spirit, but the age gap made the relationship more of a distant, unspoken father-son rather than brothers. Old Timer would drop by to check up on Johnny, pass along jobs, and compare notes. After Johnny's family tragedy that you hinted at, the unspoken relationship cemented, until Tyler came along. Tyler saw the closeness between them and likened it to a cool grandpa checking up on his equally cool grandson. Since Tyler called ended up calling Johnny big brother, it was Tyler that started calling the Old Timer grandpa. Since Tyler liked the idea of having more family, and neither Johnny nor Old Timer minded, the title stuck. Drives a white Bentley. Body type is either a gymnast or a martial artist physique. Here's one. A second example Real-world examples. He's fought in WW2 but WW1 is what war his genetic Daddy fought in. After the Russians show up they explain that the Old Man was with them and that he was last to be sucked into the portal. Anything designed for stabbing over slashing, but he is familiar with most tactical melee weapons. Typically he carries either a cane or umbrella. The cane is of course a straight sword and the sheath is reinforced to use as a baton, uses both simultaneously (sword and shield). The umbrella is much more tricked out but think about Lancelot in Kingsmen and that's a solid example. Almost always carries a combat balisong (butterfly knife) somewhere on his person, and just to show off knows the fancy moves too. Again most guns seen in military he has a standard knowledge of and used. But his favourites are Tristan a Thompson Center Contender chambered for a .45-70 Government with long barrel carbine conversion, he can curve the bullets around to correct trajectory or make impossibly accurate shots with just a glance at the target. Diarmuid a Double barrel 1911 with the right barrel using tungsten core hollow point bullets and the left using uranium tipped bullets. Hector a MPA930DMG 9mm Pistol (Glock machine pistol) that's rugged, reliable, and doesn't quit. It's designed to allow multiple attachments and convert into an assault rifle or an SMG stable enough for rapid fire sharp shooting. Mata Hari is a Glock 26. Like the balisong he always has one on his person with 2 spare clips. And lastly El Cid, a well worn .41 caliber, nickel-plated, double-action 1877 Colt Lightning., his go to gun for the great majority of his assassin killer role. With El Cid he can curve bullets much better, split second quickdraw deadshots. It's heavily custom made to his taste and personal use, like an extension of his body. El Cid is chambered to accept multiple ammunition such as slugs and armour penetration to the tungsten and uranium bullets of Diarmuid, but two are special to it. The first is a low yield explosive bullets called Cherrybombers. They explode with the force of a cherrybomb this the name. The second is simply called the Magic Bullet .

He controls the bullet with his telekinesis, he's had enough time to figure out the best shape and weight of the bullet and the right amount of force behind it to allow the perfect amount of control and damage. It's a finisher that he reserves for the really unrepentant targets. He executes them personally, even puts their name on the bullet. I figure he then mails one bullet as a 'heads up you're a deadman walking' let's them prepare for him just to let them feel like they have a chance, and take out their assets, then absolutely wrecks them. Says "I have a bullet with a name on It. Hint: it's not mine." The Old Man used his TK to grab onto a pipe poking out the ground but it was a weak grip. He ends up in the middle of a battle where a battalion of griffin and diamond dogs with a handful of minotaur and dragons fighting against an army of Arimaspi. Old Man will end up looking like this camo.derpicdn.net/be478d503ceaa99cd2355c70c7f887d42c026a42?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimg00.deviantart.net%2F6514%2Fi%2F2015%2F298%2Ff%2F5%2Fliving_legend_by_l3monjuic3-d9e20iz.jpg . His guns are empty except for El Cid which he's keeping in reserve along with one of each type of bullet.
