For fans of my 'John the Balladeer' stories · 2:42am Dec 10th, 2018
The original stories by Manly Wade Wellman will be published again, illustrated, in hardcover, two volumes with both the short stories that have occasionally been reprinted and all five of the novels. The latter have been out of print since the mid-80's, so this is a rare deal.
Unfortunately it's also pricy, with the two-volume set going for $90. But it's not coming out until October of 2019, so there's time to save up.
Here's the link to the page at Haffner Press.
If you get them I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.
Oh wow. I didn't know the novels were out of print - my dad has copies of them (I guess saved from the '80's?) so I never went looking for my own set. I'm very glad they're being reissued!
Myself, though - while they're all well worth reading - I think the short story format works better for John the Balladeer than the novels?

The short stories do seem to work better for the character, though I still love the novels.
And congrats on owning all the novels.
4979320 Oh, no, I don't own any of them; my dad still has them, and I read his copies while visiting. But thanks for the proxy-congratulations!
