Back from RBC18 - raffle time! · 1:35pm Dec 5th, 2018

Just got back from my trip, aside from RBC18 in Moscow went to Saint Petersburg, Tallin, Riga and Vilnius.

it was fun meeting with some of the friends i haven't seen in a while, even some Americans form, the guys from Fallout Equestria print project.
got the rare chance to hold the Metalestia by Shuxer - her youtube build... we know each other for some time, so i was allowed to lift her. might break in the end and get him to make my OC figure.
as for general loot got 3 books:
* Fallout: Equestria - Duck and Cover!
* Two Sides of Melody, collection of My Roommate is a Vampire, Accidental Harmony and Allegrezza
* Anthropology
lot of Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic folder card, Core and expensions.
Cards Against equestria and bunch of other things
but as usual, i tend to raffle something to the people over at fimfic once i'm back
this time it will be the conbook, silicone band and con tag along with 2 Yakov-Lev magnets... will try to add random mlp stuff i can find at home.

These all look really cool. I don't know why but I often get a bad feeling when I see fanfics on books. I don't know why but it always makes me feel awkward. Then again I've been against most books nowadays. Maybe it's the cheesiness. Maybe I'm bored to read and prefer audiobooks. Shrug.

I'm always interested in seeing what the fandom can come up with especially this late in the series when some folks burn out and leave or just plain get bored. This fandom, to me at least, seems different in that most are here for the long haul and extremely creative. Hasbro just gives us more and more material to work with, new characters and ideas and it comes out in all the fan works, both physical and digital.
I really don't want it to end but we all know they have to end it somewhere eventually. That won't stop the inventive and creative folks who generate so much material for themselves and for fans. Long live the fandom! :)

Pretty sure it's a sense of accomplishment for most authors. Like having a TV tropes page.
