Still sane, Exile?
Hey, guys!
So yeah, I've been playing a lot of Path of Exile lately. Game's fun. It's free to play on Steam (and Xbox), and the new expansion is coming out on the 7th. So much hype!
But anyway, I recently tossed up a blog post about the re-up on the One Full Day Illustrated hard copy over here, but I figured you guys that are reading these blogs because of my current writing deserve an update as well.
In short, progress is being made:
That screen cap contains the remainder of Act 1 of Compati. Something along the lines of another 50k words I've yet to publish. And again I apologize for the delays in publication of chapters. This story is difficult to write, because as you'll see, it will toe an extremely fine line, and I want it to be perfect.
But yeah, that's that. Patience is a virtue, and dragging me off PoE is a feat in and of itself.
Anyway, back to writing.

Been loving the new Consecrated Path way too much. It's a nice offset to running an Oni-goroshi.

Got a build in mind for Betrayal? I'm going to break one of my own rules and immediately try a Winter Orb totem templar.

Gonna probably run my Consecrated Path again. It's the smoothest run to endgame (and through endgame) I've ever had so far. Just gotta farm the Oni first, which is never bad, because all it really means is I catch up on anime I've been meaning to watch.

Should probably say that it's a crit/leech Slayer/Elementalist Scion. Good leech and enough regen to counter Her Embrace and more besides. Just gotta figure out how to get more dps early on, since although PoB says I should be hitting along the lines of 1.4mil dps, I'm nowhere near that in my current gear. Gotta get those high-end rares.
