Greetings my fellow Bronies from around the world. Not a lot of people voted, but this was the majority. So welcome to another of my Adoption Blogs. It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these. Honestly, I kinda wish I did more so that more ideas of mine could be adopted and put into actual writing. Still, what can you do, am I right?
If this is your first time reading my blog and/or Adoption post allow me to quickly explain. I have tons of ideas I get for MLP fanfiction, I can't just write them since the last time I did that I had caused the Space Time Continuum to shatter and restart reality. Instead, I give them out for writers to do on their own free will, provided they have the ability to write and have the time to give dedication. There is nothing wrong with taking an idea from somebody and giving your own twist on it, provided you acknowledge the idea came from somewhere else.
It should also be stated that there are other adoption blogs, with ideas that have yet to be adopted. If you don’t see a story idea you might like personally on this particular blog, check out the other ones I have for a shot.

Without further ado, let’s read on shall we?
1. Title: “The Great Parent Rescue”
Genre: Adventure, Comedy, Action
Summary: “Sludge might not have been Spike’s real father, but the story he told was true in of itself. After some forced confession by an angry alicorn princess, Sludge confesses that Spike’s parents are locked up in Land of Scale Collectors by the dragon hunting ponies that rule it. Having been a former prisoner himself, he knew of Spike’s parents in prison before escaping. Knowing that his real parents are prisoners, Spike and his friends set out to free them.
However, The Scale Collectors answer to nobody but themselves in their everlasting crusade again dragons. Not even the Princesses have authority over them or their order. With no other choice, the group has to bust Spike’s parents out of there or else he risks losing them forever.”
-This is a Spike finds his parents story, but what makes it stand out is that he must rescue them from pony dragon hunters who capture or kill their targets. How Spike’s parents behave and how Spike managed to escape imprisonment is up to the writer, but I have a few ideas on how they can go about that.
-As for Dragon Hunters? Think of them as Pony Crusaders who are those who lost families, friends, and homes to dragons and swore to destroy or capture any dragon no matter how innocent or guilty they might be. We’ve seen dragons disliking ponies in many examples both canon and fandom, but why not ponies? A group that sees them as monsters that cannot become friends with and want to pretty much cause a genocide in revenge for those they lost or what their ancestors lost. They answer to no authority but their own and will even fight their own kind in their zealous crusade.
2. Title: “The Last True Earth Ponies” (Adopted by Phillips_Quickfix)
Genre: Western, Action, Adventure, Drama, Dark, Tragedy
Summary: “After years of advancement, civilization in Equestria has reached an all-time peak with industry, urbanization, and prosperity. However, something was lot in all that advancement, the pride of the Earth Pony. When once the Earth Ponies tended the farms, the trades, and good old hoof to hoof work it has been replaced by magic and machines. Even in the wild deserts of the south are more and more earth pony settlements becoming more city like as the days of the truth Earth Pony ways are lost.
Yet there are some who resist this. Those who fight against civilization and its machines to keep the true spirit of the Earth Pony alive. Some call them outlaws, others call them rebels, a few calls them spirited adventures seeking to settle down and live life their own way. A world that has betrayed them, a society that no longer has any use for them, this the story of the Last True Earth Pony gang that tired to fight the stem of time…”
-If you have played the Red Dead Redemption series, you know that one of the constant themes of the game is the end of the Western Cowboy era and the birth of the modern industrial era. The outlaws try to keep the spirit of the old west alive in the face of the growing eastern industrial government that is too big to stop, but they fight on anyway for their pride and their way of life. This is like that concept.
-By this time in Equestria (after the series), most of Equestria has become more modern with machines and inventions while old fashioned ways are dying out. Farms are mostly handled by machines or magic, trades aren’t as popular as they were, factories make mostly everything, and nature isn’t as treated well as it used to be. For Unicorns and Pegasi, this world is good to them, but for Earth Ponies, they struggle to adopt a new world and find a new purpose.
-One group of Earth Ponies rejects this change to keep to their old ways and their pride, so like Dutch’s gang they become outlaws determined to get revenge on “civilization” anyway they can, earn enough money to start their own land, and live by their own rules. But like all those who try to stand against the test of time, its only a matter of time before they fall. The characters are all up to the writer.
3. Title: “Can The Heart Love Twice?”
Genre: AU, Romance, Sad, Family, Slice of Life
Summary: “Ever since losing his wife, Bright Mac has always put his children and his farm first to help ease the pain. He’s seen his daughter become a national hero, his son finds a possible future wife, and his youngest daughter find her cutie mark after so long. He’s proud of his children, yet his heart aches in loneliness for his departed wife.
One day, he finds himself falling in love again with a mare from Canterlot after an awkward meeting. Slowly, his heart begins to heal but tension grows between him and his children who have various feelings about him falling in love. Is it selfish for him to want to feel love again or is just trying to fight the pain inside of him? Can his children accept a possible new mother, or will they reject her out of fear of replacing their old one?
No matter what the answer is, they will face it as a family.”
-First off, this is on the basis that Bright Mac to survive whatever happened to him that killed both him and his wife off in canon and was there to watch his children grow up. However, he feels lonely with his wife gone, but finds himself falling in love again somewhere in the series. Naturally, he feels conflicted about loving another mare even though he does like her, but is afraid of moving on from Pear Butter.
-Opposite of this, you have the siblings who are conflicted about their father dating another mare. Applejack and Big Mac love their mother very much, even after she’s gone, and naturally they would be the most upset about the whole thing, fearing that their father is trying to replace their mother and her memory. Apple Bloom might be more open about it do to being so young she can’t remember her mother that much. She also might like the pony very much her father is dating while one of the other siblings might think the worst of them since well, they are from Canterlot a place with a good portion of snooty ponies.
-It’s plenty of good family drama and an interesting direction to take the Apple Family.
4. Title: “Daring Doo’s Last Book”
Genre: Comedy, Adventure
Summary: “A.K. Yearling meets up with her publishing company who tells her that due to Daring Doo book sale going down, they want her to kill off the character and start a new series. Of course, they don’t know that A.K. Yearling is Daring Doo in real life, but she has no choice but to agree under contract.
And so Daring Doo goes on another adventure that she is “supposed” to die from, without dying for real.”
-We all know that publishers or parent companies make decisions for our products we don’t want to do, but we must do them. This kind of explores that where the author of Daring Doo is told her character must die in her final adventure due to low sales. So Daring Do does go on an adventure to have one last hurrah and find someway to “die” from it for inspiration. It’s mostly comedy based but needs action scenes too. You can add Dash or Quibble Pants to the story if you want too.”
5. Title: “It’s a Changing World”
Genre: Dark, Sad, Drama
Summary: “Light Step and Valor Blade were best friends who joined the guard together to find adventure and serve their country. On the day of the Changeling Invasion, Light Step was killed in action. Valor Blade, having to bury his friend, swore to serve justice to the changelings for their hoof in his death. A few years later, to his horror, the princesses announce that the changelings are now allies and friends to Equestria.
Now he has to live in a world where the murderers of his best friend are the citizens he must protect as changelings come to live in Canterlot in peace.”
-This idea was based on a comic I wrote. A guard loses his fellow guard and best friend to the Changelings during the whole “Royal Wedding” fiasco. However, changelings soon become allies of Equestria following their change and now they are not only setting up a new society, but some are moving to Equestria to live among the very creatures they once went to war with. Naturally, the guard is upset by this and is torn between his duty as a guard and his hatred for race who killed his best friend.
-What becomes of him I leave to the writer. Does he eventually overcome his hatred and moves on from his loss or does become a victim to it and murders changelings over time to fuel his hatred?
6. Title: “I’m Dating My Future Killer”
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Drama
Summary: “A Teenaged Spike goes to a comic book store where he meets a unicorn pony who shares the same interest as him. Soon after, the two become smitten for each other and begin to date. Only there is one small detail about her that she neglected to tell Spike.
Her family are dragon slayers and she’s expected to slay a dragon herself soon.”
-Yeah, this alone just screams comedy romance. Dragon and pony fall for each other. Pony is a dragon slayer in training that must kill a dragon. The two have to find a solution without killing one or another. It screams comedy protentional.

I gotta say the last one sounds funny. All in all many wonderful story ideas! I wish I was gifted enough to write one of these.
2 and 5 Definitely have my attention, though I wouldn't be adopting 5 because it's too similar to another story I'm writing. Similar in premise but no one died and I took The Odd Couple approach. I can tell you in more detail via PM if you're interested?

Apologies, I was in a rush as I wrote that. Let me clarify. Your stories have caught my attention, more specifically 2 and 5. I thought about adopting 5 but then realized it's very similar to a story I'm alread in the process of writing. Similar premise but I went The Odd Couples route of having the main character end up with a changing as their room mate.

Still would like to tackle The Last True Earth Pony. Never played Red Dead Redemption but I've seen plenty of spaghetti westerns with the same premise or plot so I think I can pull it off.
