only part I really don't like is that my room has weird temperature issues, likely from the twin doors that lead to the deck patio directly to it, so it's always either much colder than the rest of the house, or much hotter. This case colder.

eeyup. Sleeping requires extra blankets or a semi noise heater. The worst part might just be the first hour or so after waking up in the morning where I'm not use to any discomfort. In the afternoon I no longer care after having woken up, got dressed, and have a jacket on. But for that time in the morning I'm especially susceptible to temperature of any kind :P

I live in California so it has never really ever been cold for my whole life. But I'm quite used to it being way too hot.
