So yes I'm doing the thing that is probably mildly insane and picking up a second project. No, that doesn't mean I'm dropping Speak. In fact, I try to make time to open Speak up at least 2-3x per day so Threnody can judge me for not writing more of 18. Or rather for not writing it as quickly as I would like.

But, sometimes what I find helpful in my own creative process is getting out of my head for a bit. I found that it was a lot easier to work on 18 without having to deal with the weight of the unfinished X-chapters weighing over my head. And sometimes... sometimes I also want to write outside of the world of Fallout Equestria. I love post apocalyptic horses, but... when I read, I also enjoy other genres as well.

Which is where Synchronicity comes in. It... kind of started as a joke, to be fair. I was talking with Stillinbeta on her Mare-amours server, and she mentioned she was tired of reading Lyra x Bon Bon fics where Lyra is this zany character obsessed with humans and Bon Bon is mostly... exasperated and mad. I'm still not 100% sure why I took that upon myself as a challenge, but then I started writing and my 5-9k word one off idea spawned a new project. I have a few wonderful folks helping me edit it, including Gara and Nova Quill so that I don't end up burning out RoMS and Bro. Or... rather so Bronode doesn't have to put up with my awkward attempts at writing shipping. RoMS wanted to stick around for this project, and is apparently a glutton for punishment. I'm hoping to have the first chapter edited by the end of this week, but I was so excited about making a cover for it that I wanted to show it off!

And I wanted to make sure people knew I wasn't ditching Speak. I was just losing my fucking mind and starting a new project on the side!

:yay: Always glad to see a fresh project from an established member of the site. I'll look forward to it!

Looking forward to it! Personally, I find that working on some side projects actually helps with whatever main projects I've got. Helps keep the mind "expansive" and whatnot.

Hey, everybody needs a "change of scenery" from time to time^^ I myself write 3 stories at the same time (currently), with no visible end to either of them in sight:twilightsheepish: Anyways, looking forward to this story^^

Hm, sounds like it could be interesting, aye; thanks for letting us know.
edit after the story's release:
Oh, already? :)
Well, it may be a bit before I get to it, but I've placed a bookmark!
