I'd also like to add that in the first video, he just says 'the end of user generated content', but 'user generated content' isn't just memes, or videos, or parodies, FANFICTION is technically user generated content as well, sites like Ao3, Fanfition.net, and FIMfiction, WILL likely be targeted for deletion by this as well. Article 13 will destroy the internet as we know it, and will be a massive blow to freedom of speech everywhere, which is exactly what the music and film industries want...
If you live in the EU, call your MEP's, organize protests, rally against it in any way you can. If you don't live in the EU, then help our European sisters and brothers to spread the word, tweet about it, make memes about it, write bad fanfiction mocking it. The outcry needs to be global, and it needs to be LOUD.
Act now, and fight to save the internet... Or we're all fucked.
