    Where I'm at now

    Hey all.

I've been online here and there recently these past two weeks or so. I've been trying to get back into writing... a big reason why I wasn't was because I was not only wrapped up in my college work, but I was dating my childhood sweetheart (yay, a girlfriend!)

    A small preview...

Here is a small preview of a story I'm working on:

Looking around, Celestia found herself on the brink of disaster, or at least the butt of a bad joke. Wherever that portal put her, it certainly wasn’t the Crystal Empire.

She was on the edge of a very, very tall building, on the brink of falling down.

    HEADS UP

I'm probably going to be re-writing "You Kept Me Alive"... although if I'm honest, I may just re-write it into a "Celestia goes to Earth" story, and maybe through some miracle the hoo-man goes to Equestria but I don't know. I digress, I'm not sure if I will follow through on this but I will let you guys/gals know.

    RETURN

Anyone who's followed me has undoubtedly known that my account and stories are dead. Not anymore.

After a long time of not being active, I'm resuming my stories on here. I want this to be short and sweet, thanks for reading and I hope to see you about.

She didn’t notice it at first, but these buildings were different. Very different. Instead of the rounded architecture of Equestria and it neighboring countries, these buildings were very square, one could say modular.

The small lights shone dimly lit through them. Looking down, she happened to notice the citizens, before being notifyed of a sound which came crashing through the air on her right. The noise, albeit quiet, suddenly increased in measure until she caught sight of what it was.

The entity in question was an odd, triangular object, with four protrusions and lights of various colors blinking.

It was flying at incredible speeds. She’d never seen anything go that fast, not even Rainbow Dash during her sonic Rainboom. The shock from the noise was enough to send her reeling back before resuming her observations on the citizens below.

She looked upon the ponies and realized quickly that these were not her beloved ponies. In fact, these were not anything she’d seen at all. They were strange-looking; they had what looked to be four legs but only used two to walk on, the other two merely dangling or holding onto objects of what looked to be obvious value.

In a voice not usually recognized by others she breathed, “What in Tartarus is this place?”

She’d no idea what she stumbled into. Everything around here was alien to her.

The only comfort was the calm wind which constantly blew her mane and tail, although that left much to be desired.

She began to wander around the hard and flat roof of the building and noticed a door on the other side of it, directly adjacent. Maybe she could get some answers if she met some of the locals?

Or were they hostile? How could she tell? This decision left her uneasy, and she refrained from the door for the time being. She returned to her spot and merely took in the sights, sitting down on the cold material that made the building. Like brick, only harder and much colder.

She looked down to see larger, metallic objects moving quickly in two directions between the two lines which seemed to “encase” them. They moved at incredible speeds, as the carriages in her time were of no such speed. Focusing on them, she noticed that the same creatures which she herself was observing were operating these “machines”. T’was the best explanation for what she was seeing.

My word, how fast are these beings going? Who, er, what are these things? She furrowed her eyebrows and put a hoof to her chin in thought.

Minutes of thinking went by as she noticed the night sky, the moon beginning to hang in the sky over the horizon.

What do you think? Think I should continue?
