Looking for Artists · 7:24pm Nov 14th, 2018

First blog post on this site...and I'm sure it will raise a lot of questions by the end.

Anyways, I have some characters redesigns in mind for Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Maud Pie, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Sweetie Belle, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie Lulamoon, and Fluttershy that I wish to use in my Avengers-Verse fanfics (the MLP characters are based off the Equestria Girls versions in the Avengers-Verse, but with normal colored skin). The thing is, I'm a pretty mediocre artist on paper and absolutely terrible when it comes to digital art, so I was wondering...would anyone be interested in helping me bring these redesigns to life? I'll go over each design by the order in which they debut in the Avengers-Verse.

Rarity's Avengers-Verse redesign (introduced in the Sasuke & Rarity & Solaris Arc of Super Smash Bros. Rebirth) is based off the outfit she wore in The Other Side music video with a few differences;

1. There's no glitter (for lack of a better word) in Rarity's hair. Additionally, Rarity initially alternates between having purely purple hair and having a mix of purple hair with white streaks (think Nightmare Rarity) depending on her emotional state up until her resurrection in the Legends Reawakened Arc, at which point she consciously keeps the white streaks in her purple hair out of respect for her Chrono Reflect counterpart.
2. There are a pair of vertical slits on the back of Rarity's outfit for either the wings from the Curse Mark Level 2 form she gets in the Rabum Alal Arc of Super Smash Bros. Rebirth, which is identical to that of the Curse Mark Level 2 form possessed by Sasuke Uchiha, or the wings she creates with the Nanochips (from the Ben 10 franchise) after gaining the power of Eimin (of the Apocalypse Twins from Uncanny Avengers) in the Children of Solaris Arc of Super Smash Bros. Guardians.
3. On the back of Rarity's outfit in between the aforementioned vertical slits is a customized version of the Uchiha crest where the red portion of the crest is made of ruby.

Rarity also possesses a black metal prosthetic right arm (think the Uru metal prosthetic arm Thor got in the comics after becoming unworthy) made of Nanochips due to losing her right arm as a result of her and Sasuke's battle with Rainbow Dash and Naruto Uzumaki at the end of the War of Creation Arc of Super Smash Bros. Rebirth and is blind due to Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan overuse during the timeskip that occurs between the War of Creation Arc and the Sasuke & Rarity Arc (For anyone confused by that last bit, Rarity acquired all of Sasuke Uchiha's abilities during the Rabum Alal Arc of Super Smash Bros. Rebirth through a special pill that created a link between them. However, because of this, Rarity's versions of these abilities are significantly weaker, which is why she lost her sight despite possessing the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan). Additionally, for weapons, Rarity wields a spear similar to the one wielded by her counterpart from Azure Sandora's Chrono Reflect as well as a broad sword AND buster sword similar to the ones wielded by her counterpart from Azure Sandora's Code Lyoko EG.

Rainbow Dash's Avengers-Verse redesign (introduced in the Sasuke & Rarity & Solaris Arc) is mostly a fusion of the designs of Zero from the Mega Man X/Mega Man Zero series (Rainbow Dash's armor after becoming a human Reploid is based off Zero's Mega Man Zero design with the addition of retractable versions of Zero's shoulder pads from the Mega Man X series, but she has a Buster identical to Mega Man X's X-Buster on her right arm) with traces of Thanos (Rainbow Dash's Reploid armor has the same color scheme as Thanos' armor and she wears the Infinity Gauntlet on her left hand (up until it's destroyed at the end of Super Smash Bros.: Avengers World as a result of Sonic the Hedgehog using it to resurrect everyone who died during the Avengers' conflict with Dr. Weil) as well as a helmet identical to Thanos' helm) and Sigma (Rainbow Dash obtains facial scars identical to Sigma's during the eight month time skip between the Malekith & Hela Arc and the End of the Line Arc). Additionally, after her battle with Naruto in the Chrono Rebirth Arc of Super Smash Bros Rebirth, Rainbow Dash receives a haircut identical to the one possessed by her Crystal War timeline counterpart, although she later begins keeping her hair in a ponytail once it grows back by the time of Super Smash Bros.: Avengers World. After regaining her humanity in the wake of the battle against Galeem in the End Times Arc of Super Smash Bros.: Avengers World, Rainbow Dash begins wearing an outfit that is nearly identical to the one worn by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, albeit with the addition of metallic sleeves (think Thor Odinson's modern costumes) meant to cover her heavily scarred arms, with her Reploid design being retained for her Biometal form. For additional weapons, Rainbow Dash uses kunai and shuriken like her counterpart from Azure Sandora's Code Lyoko EG as well as Zero's original Z-Saber (with Rainbow Dash later acquiring a second Z-Saber with the acquisition of her Biometal) and a Biometal that allows her to transform into her Reploid form.

Maud Pie's Avengers-Verse redesign (introduced in the Sasuke & Rarity & Solaris Arc) is based off of her Crystal War timeline counterpart's design.

Pinkie Pie's Avengers-Verse redesign (introduced in the Sasuke & Rarity & Solaris Arc) is based off of her Crystal War timeline counterpart's design, but retains her original haircut up until she receives a haircut identical to the one possessed by her Crystal War timeline counterpart in the Chrono Rebirth Arc at the same time that Rainbow Dash receives her haircut. Additionally, after losing her right arm and right eye to Hela during the climactic final battle of the End of the Line Arc, Pinkie Pie begins wearing a black Asgardian eye-patch (think Odin's eye-patch from the MCU) over her empty eye socket (which doesn't cover the scar going down her face) and obtains an Uru metal prosthetic right arm from Thor Odinson to replace her lost arm, which Pinkie leaves exposed by removing the right sleeve from her outfit (think Cloud Strife's Advent Children attire). Following the battle with Galeem in the End Times Arc of Super Smash Bros.: Avengers World, Pinkie Pie's prosthetic arm changes from being made of Uru metal to being made of pink gold metal (think Pink Gold Peach from Mario Kart) and she regains her missing right eye, albeit said eye is now gold instead of blue. For weapons, Pinkie Pie wields a bladed hula-hoop similar to the one wielded by her Chrono Reflect counterpart as well as a pair of Keyblades (I will provide links to the images of the Keyblades that Pinkie Pie wields in the Avengers-Verse down below. I do NOT own either image, but both of these Keyblades fit Pinkie Pie so well that I had to give them to her in the Avengers-Verse).

Keyblade 1

Keyblade 2

Fluttershy's Avengers-Verse redesign (introduced at the Super Smash Bros. Guardians) is based off the Marvel NOW design for Thor Odinson, albeit with a long black scarf instead of a red cape, being symbolic of Fluttershy's close friendship with both Thor and Gorr the God Butcher in the Avengers-Verse. Additionally, for weapons, Fluttershy wields two duplicates of the MCU version of Stormbreaker as well as two daggers and a bow and arrows similar to those wielded by her counterparts from Azure Sandora's Chrono Reflect and Code Lyoko EG (two fantastic stories that I highly recommend checking out).

Thanks. Problem is, I'm not that good of an artist myself, which is why I've been looking for artists who would be willing to bring my designs to life. If anything, you could tell me what you think of the designs based off the descriptions I gave.

I love being the inspiration of so much of your work. It's truly an honor, especially in this current phase of my life.

I'm kind of surprised you'e not drawing from more Chrono Reflect with Rainbow Dash though. I based her ENTIRELY off of MegaMan X in that story. MegaMan X with a dash of KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.

Well, Rainbow Dash becoming a Reploid is actually somewhat of a nod to DASH-379.

It isn't fully mentioned here, but the Rabum Alal Arc of Super Smash Bros. Rebirth sees each of the Mane Six obtain the same weapons and Element Magic types as their Chrono Reflect counterparts.

The Avengers-Verse versions of all the MLP characters are a composite of their Code Lyoko EG, Chrono Reflect, and canon EG counterparts, with my own personal touches thrown in.

What do you think of Rarity and Fluttershy's Avengers-Verse redesigns, by the way?
