This Blog has nothing to do with my stories, and is an update regarding my own personal life. If you do not wish to be involved, you are by no means required to read it. I will not be offended if you make that decision. If you wish to continue reading, then go ahead and scroll down.
As of this moment I am sitting in a hospital room with my family. My mother had been admitted into the hospital on the night I posted my last chapter of Hero Souls: Awakening. She could not breathe. While in the emergency ward the X-Ray revealed large lumps of mass in her lungs. She was officially admitted after that, and had a biopsy immediately scheduled.
Today she just got out of her biopsy, and the lung doctor is fairly certain she has aggressive small cell lung cancer. We won't know for absolute certain until the results of the biopsy are done being analyzed.
I am not a religious man. I believe there is someone or something out there that created us, or was involved in our creation, and may even have some say over what happens to our souls after death, but I never really bought into religion itself in all of my life. Today however was the first day I sat in a Chapel and seriously prayed.
I didn't make demands. I didn't beg to have my mother's life spared. I only asked whatever may have been listening to please let her journey, either to death or recovery, be gentle and as painless as possible. That is all I want. She doesn't deserve to be in pain.
I know I don't update often on this site, but just so you know I will have my computer on me at all times, and I will try and work on Hero Souls, but I don't make any promises.
Thank you for listening if you did decided to read this.
I'll be praying for her, and you, and the rest of your family.
I am very sorry to hear about your mother. Best wishes for her, I really hope she can recover from this. Take care, I hope both of you get through this alright.
Well done, hopefully God will hear your prayers and she won't suffer, and even more hopefully she'll walk towards recovery...
Aww, man. That is really bad news about your mother. Yeah, I can definitely see where that would have to come first. Not much more I can say other than I wish you and your family luck.
