    Bookish Delight (FINAL)

    (sort of)

    Hey, folks. This thing on?

So I was originally trying to write this big essay blogpost about where I've been and the future of Bookish and all that, but... it didn't pan out. So we'll do the much, much shorter version that should still tell you what's important.

    WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

Did you think it was over

...yeah, that's fair, so did I. Still need to talk about that when I'm able. Until then...

    ELa Famille Royale
The Zephyr Heights royals just helped change the world. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they've done so, and they'll have to answer for that... just as soon as they work on themselves.

    Question For the Crowd!

What, in your opinion, are Equestria's most significant locations? (i.e. Canterlot, Cloudsdale, etc.)

Please keep it to... oh, top 7, and excluding Ponyville/the Everfree Forest.

Thanks to all who answer!

You Can Has Interview! · 7:36pm Nov 12th, 2018

Today's just a rollercoaster of pop-culture emotions! First the Pikachu trailer, then Stan Lee, now prepare for your emotional pendulum to swing back in the other other direction, because I just did an interview with EQD on how to get characters to play nice-nice with each other!

Big thanks to MarvelandPonder for being an absolute understanding gem of an interviewer.

That's all for today--I'm still very indefinitely hiatused. ^^ See you next game.

R.I.P to the Godfather of comicbooks

Congrats on the interview! I hope things have been going well, and I eagerly await your full return! :pinkiehappy:

That was really insightful. I love it.

yeah, it was cool seeing your (pony) face up there :D

Yay, interview! Thanks!

Excellent interview, Bookish.

Tackling the roller coaster car by car:
* God help me I'm legitimately excited for that movie. The jokes all clicked for me, the art direction strikes an impressive balance between making the Pokemon look physically realistic while also still honoring their original designs in a way that is unique and off-putting but, like, in a good way if that makes sense? I dunno, all I know is I'm pretty sure they just sold me on this thing and I kinda hate myself for it but will happily buy an opening night ticket anyway.
* Honestly part of me IS heartbroken, especially given the admittedly-difficult-to-quite-pin-down reports that Lee's estate/attorney may have been abusing and exploiting him in his old age. But on the other hand? He lived to 95, and left behind a legacy that will likely outlast every single person currently mourning him. That's a rare and wonderful thing, and should be celebrated (alongside grappling with the more contentious aspects of that legacy admittedly but that's a whooooooooooole other can of worms).
* LOVELY interview! It's all stuff that seems obvious on the surface, but still feels really important to have written down so explicitly (the idea of trying to view your OC as a canon character and judging your responses to them on that level especially feels resonant to me), and you speak to it very keenly and smartly all the way through; your choice of metaphors feels apt in particular since food (and rocks I guess XD) like writing is as much about Nourishment as it is Enjoyment and learning to make both work together is the best way to do both.
