Rest in Peace Stan Lee (1922-2018) · 7:31pm Nov 12th, 2018

To the man who made me fall in love with Marvel comics, and comics in general. To the one who created some of my favorite heroes, and some of the greatest heroes ever written. To the one and only. Rest in peace, Stan Lee. I pray to God your last few years were as peaceful as they could be.

God bless.

He's dead?!?!?:fluttercry::fluttershysad::fluttercry::fluttershysad:

Well, you certainly have earned your place as one of comic's greatest writers. May all your characters salute you in heaven. Excelsior, sir! You will be remembered.

He will be dearly missed.

RIP The Legend.

He’s gone?!?! :pinkiegasp:

He was one of my favorite idols and legends of all time. He will be remembered and his legacy will live on forever.

RIP :fluttershysad: :fluttercry: :applecry: :raritycry: :pinkiesad2:

He Just Died?

Oh My God I didn’t realize until I saw this post, well he will be missed

The man and legend that brought my favourites superheroes to life will never be forgotten. His time may have ended, but his legacy shall live on.

Thank you, Stan Lee, for everything. Rest in peace, True believer...

Rest in Peace Stan Lee, your work shall live on, you shall be missed :fluttercry:

To the man who gave us some of the most memorable superheroes in pop culture, planted the seed for what would become one of the most successful film franchises of this generation, and for being a wonderful human being. To the dearly departed legend Stan Lee. May he rest in peace.

Damn...
That's all I got
It's sad that our generation is seeing the passing of so many giants.

Damn... well,

Let's see who will cameo next: Todd MacFarlene, John Romita Sr. or some of the 20th century Marvel guys still kicking.

The Avengers 4 movie will be dedicated to both your memory, and your greatness. It's been one hell of a journey there, one hell. Thanks for all the great entertainment you gave us both baby boomer and millenial alike, we will never forget you.

Excelsior.

First thing I listened to after hearing of his passing. It just... somehow helped.

4967107 Excelsior. :ajsleepy:

4967119 :fluttercry:

4967122 Legends never die.

4967140 Still trying to believe it. :fluttershysad:

4967141 Somehow, knowing and accepting it makes it hurt less. It's so hard though.

4967167 True believers unite. :pinkiesad2:

4967171 He shall indeed.

4967175 His legacy not only in comics but in media in general will forever remain. That's a legend.

4967180 :raritycry:

4967186 :fluttershyouch:

4967200 Can't imagine all of these legends passing. :fluttercry:

4967292 I don't think they should have anyone replace Stan Lee for cameos. If anything, his picture somewhere in the frame would do well to continue his legacy. Also, there better be an "In Loving Memory" to Stan once the Avengers 4 credits rolls.

4967324
Indeed
This must've been what it was like when John Wayne and all the greats of his era were passing for our parent's generation.

And he was almost 100 years old

His legacy shall live on in our hearts as one of greatest (if not the best) comic book publishers of all time. There will probably never be a better inspirer for the Marvel series than Stan Lee! :fluttercry:

4967466 I can't think of any alive that could hope to top him.

4967715 Oh, man. Great artwork. :fluttercry:

Rest In Peace Stan Lee

I think the first time I ever really encountered Stan Lee was the opening of the old Ps1 Spiderman game where he would give a nice intro to the first level. It was always nice to see/hear him in the movies/gamesz it just told you he cares about these stories and characters and he still wanted to be a part of it.

It’s going to be sad going back to them but I’m glad he’s there and I’m glad I got to met him when I could.

He helped create some of my favorite characters in fiction and helped created my favourite comic book hero.

You will be missed Mr.Lee.

Changed so many lives and gave us look on life that is rare
Made us believe there can be heroes

4967950 Who left this bowl of onions here? :raritycry:

4967900 He just really loved his fans. Gotta respect someone who stayed with us for his entire life.

Here's some more onions

Would you get outta here!

Ha! Good ol' Squidy.

And for all Disney fans our there, Josh Gad (Olaf) also joins in his condolences, as well as the legendary Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker and Joker). See Josh's photo with Stan in his Twitter.

A little late but a nice tribute to him

Rest In Peace, Stan Lee. You may be gone, but your characters will live on forever.

Excelsior!

And I forgot, why would I forget to mention, Larry Lieber, Iron Man's co-creator and Stan Lee's brother, is still alive. And also did you know that Spider-Man co-creator, Steve Ditko is dead months ago?

Larry said:

I miss him already. I haven't seen Stan in a long time but I spoke with him often and I was sorry to see him deteriorating physically. His death was not unexpected to me, but I feel a great sense of loss.

Oh, Ingrid Nilson too said something. She also said her grandpa, also named Stan, passed away a week ago, and said farewell to what he called two superheroes.
