Wow. I’ve only been with you for the last two years or so, but Gravity and Fusion feel like old friends. It’s a truly epic saga. I do hope Academician Vanca gets some closure, comes to understand the true overall structure and history of her universe, before her inevitable ionization. She was always a favorite character of mine, and she deserves to know.
Oh wow. I haven't read the last, er... lots of chapters, life has kept me too busy for fanfic at all, I'm barely even writing any. But I definitely need to get caught up as soon as I can.
Oh man, I really need to catch up then if the end is coming soon.
Damn 2012. I wasn't around for the beginning of this story but I'm definitelly keeping it in my favourites forever. Your work has had me unconsciously looking forward to every 16th for a looong time.

I have to confess, I haven't read through the whole thing end to end yet. I tend to read a while, go back and re-read particularly good chapters, skip out for a week or two, read another chapter. Come to think of it, my process is a lot like having one last box of Girl Scout Thin Mints in the bottom drawer, and every so often digging into it to get just one cookie out and savor it.
...and I still need to read the posted version of the final chapter of Wasp and then get on to Final Solution.
Despite my holding up Wasp as a shining example of fanfiction that's better than a lot of print stuff wherever I go, I just haven't been in the mood in the last few years. (It doesn't help that I've been spending less time reading and more time on productive hobbies.)
An end to an era, and a story longer than quite a large number of 'mainstream' series to be sure. All of it good.
Though I'll be sad to see it end, at least it will end as the author dreamed and not lost and forgotten like so many other good stories.

I think she's one of the longest serving characters, pones excluded. It's a good point, though. What other promises (knowingly or not) have I made the reader? What things are you all expecting to happen/be answered, outside of the primary narrative?
