So, after watching all the Original Star Wars movies, I wanted to get started on the prequels so that I can be caught up on everything that's going on. There wasn't much to find in the Library though...in fact there was only one prequel movie along with the rest of the originals and new ones, but it was the first one, and I got super excited! Rented it right away.
I'm like yaaay, the first prequel movie! YES! FINALLY! Revenge of the Sith! Now I won't be left out! Now I can---
*Looks at back cover.*
*Sees that it's the third and last of the prequels.*

Quite honestly?
If Revenge of the Sith is the only of the prequels you have access to, you're not as bad off as you think, because it's the most important of the three. It is quite literally the "how we got here" for the entire original trilogy. It also really isn't that hard to figure out what's going on going into it (no harder than it is for A New Hope anyway); the only real context you're missing is who Padme and Dooku are and a bunch of the Jedi Masters, and how the Clone Wars got started in the first place.

Yeah, don't worry so much about that. Honestly, as long as you generally know who Anakin Skywalker and Palpatine/Darth Sidious are (which you should already know), you're good. That, plus the massive catch-up PM I just sent you ;)
Really, the only thing you're missing out on from Episode 1 is a LOOOOOOOT of Space Politics and one pretty good Lightsaber fight (and my favorite piece of music from Star Wars: Duel of Fates).

The only reason I can think of to watch them in order (besides OCD and such) is so that you have a similar viewing experience to most other people, so you can relate to their pain better.

To be fair, that's the good one.
There's always the machete order, 45236. It maintains the twist from empire, while telling Anakin's story after the twist to understand return better. But, you know, you already watched the originals.

As someone who is a former Star Wars fan who lost interest in it but still has a lot of respect for it, takes it very seriously, understands it and a prequel defender, this meme, while it does make me laugh when used in the right place and in the right context, absolutely annoys me when used in the wrong context and this is one of them.
This is my response to this meme, not you Summer Dancer even though I feel like directing it towards you for making a post about it.
Also I too had a hard time trying to find the first Star Wars Prequel film when I was just starting to get into the franchise all the way back in 2007 when I was 8 years old. Although unlike you instead of seeing Revenge of the Sith first I saw Attackof the Clones first. Then my parents bought The Phantom Menace on DVD for me. They surprised me with it when my mother came to pick me up from school. I don’t remember much what happened after that other than so excited to finally watch it.
