I just want to apologize to all the readers. I really wish I had a better reason as for why the chapter isn't done yet. Unfortunately, the, "I've been busy with work and video games" excuse isn't really all that decent.
On the other hand, I did play through Delta Rune chapter 1. And, while it does still have the bullet hell game play that made me stop playing Undertale out of boredom, It's much shorter, so it didn't have enough time to really grate on me like it did in Undertale. Seriously, if you liked Undertale, and haven't already, give it a shot.

I get tired of hearing people say that "work and games aren't good reasons," because they totally are. You don't write fanfiction to pay bills, you do it because you like it and maybe wanna hear some praise - in other words, a leisure activity. Like a game. And we faceless, nameless masses have no claim to your time than what you personally feel like sharing.

You make a good point, though when i think about it, it just makes me look back on all that free time i spent playing video games, or watching youtube vids out of boredom, and just think, i could have been using that time to think of ideas for the chapter, or actually getting some of it written out. It's more that i just have a very poor self image, so when i think of all that time I "wasted," it just makes me feel like a lazy, pathetic piece of shit.
The work part, though...not much I can do about that, lol.
Work and games are perfectly valid reasons for taking breaks in working on a hobby like story telling.
Work is needed to pay the bills to keep the lights on and computer online, games help de-stress and relax the brain by providing it different stimuli than just focusing on only writing.
We might be wanting a new bit of story to chew on occasionally, but ultimately we have no say over how you should run your life if you decide you need to take a break from writing every now and then.
Hey, I wouldn't worry too much about that. It's literally the same reason I've been off writing for the past few months (among other things). I know it's late, but I feel you would appreciate a sibling-in-arms
