So, here's my update on stuff; I'm in a bit of a quandary over which story I'm gonna be working in for NaNoWriMo this year. On the one hand, I haven't really touched Alicornae since MARCH, which I deeply apologize for (school, family, and social obligations being what they are plus some good ole fashioned procrastinating). On the other, I have a full head of steam for an original story that I've been writing in Tapas (find Portaljumper339 there if you wanna check it out) and I don't want that momentum to die off.
Thus, I have devised an elegant solution; in order to win NaNo this year I'm gonna have to write essentially 30+ chapters of my original story as opposed to another 11 or so of Alicornae, and on Tapas I can schedule stories to post on their own. So, my plan is to work on Ostellan Nights (original story) for NaNo and build up a massive queue for that on Tapas, and then let it slowly trickle out while I come back to Alicornae.
It's been super duper bad of me to leave you all in the lurch like this with next to no communication again, so consider this an apology and an ultimatum to myself. Alicornae isn't dead, it just spent a few months in a coma while I worked to pay the hospital bills (yes that analogy is tortured, just roll with it). You all have my eternal gratitude if you stuck around, and if not then I completely understand why you'd unsubscribe.
Let's get to work!
