What happens when a world of magic is without magic?
Hello my fellow fanfic makers/readers, Hope you're all keeping well. So yeah, I've been a bit quiet for a while (whatever "a while" really means for some people 
.) but now I'm getting myself off back in action and wanted to announce a new special for MLU. It's not like I haven't done that before with my works, just for the sake of hyping the audience and getting them excited for a story. no sir. Not once. Please check out my other stuff XP
Anyway, yeah, you all know the drill with these, but this one's a little bit different. I'm sure if any of you have read my MLU series knows that I tend to … stretch the definition of that "E for Everyone" rating quite a bit at time. Especially in later seasons. You know, with some serious scenes and surprisingly graphic moments too (I somehow got Pearl snapping her own neck, and Connie losing her arm before the S6 finale, and S7 with Steven pretty much dying for a short time, and somehow censors aren't too fazed by it. 
). Then again, Steven Universe, and even My Little Pony at times did push the envelope on what they can show as well. But here's why I wanted to show this special in particular …

And yes, that DEATH tag I'm obviously highlighting for you to notice because someone is going to die. Someone important. And they won't be coming back like any Gem "death". This is something I haven't done before with this series, and few times I do imply such it's usually on "stock characters" - nameless characters one barely thinks about when reading (check Season 2 in the Homeworld arc, and you'll get the idea). So … yeah, this special's gonna be a game changer.
It still has some way to go yet, and it's a BIG special (second part's over 20,000 words 
), but it's not that far to go so here's a headsup on that.
