It's one of the most "Yep, that's a gay romance book" covers I've ever seen.

Got my official cover art for my upcoming book. Also got an official release date, it'll be up for sale (e-book only) on November 3rd from JMS Books.

Fionn is content enough in his life as one of the Queen’s Own, the adventurers who go forth the save the kingdom from evil. Johnathan is content enough to be a farmer, working the land on the small farm where his family has lived for generations.

When these two meet they both feel an almost instant attraction. Yet Johnathan knows that an elite warrior like Fionn couldn’t possibly want to settle down on the farm and make a life with him. Can Fionn perform the seemingly impossible task of convincing Johnathan that his fears are wrong?

It's actually a fairly old story, though I re-worked and updated it a lot before sending it in, and they've done some editing too, which we're finalizing now. Having a "real" editor is nice. It's a long-short-story or a short-novella, not a proper novel, about 13k words. (I keep forgetting to ask, I believe it'll be for sale for $2.99? Could be wrong.) This one is too short to be eligible for a print book, but I have a few future projects that should come out in dead tree format, which I'm looking forward to, they're all just forever away.

In pony news, there is no news. I have written basically nothing at all in the last week. I've poked at words some, and I'm trying to get some things that are nearly finished ready for publication, but... bleh. The writing doesn't come. Stress and depression I've got oodles of, energy and inspiration not so much. Hopefully something will be done soon. Meanwhile the long grind of publication at least means that when I'm not working, stuff still progresses.

It's a great song! I actually got the story idea from it and not the other way around. I dunno what it is with me and stories based on songs, I do it a lot. And yes, the capital P in my username has a purpose! "Stephanie Park" isn't actually what's on my driver's license these days, but I've been S.Park since I was like 16 and thought it was dreadfully clever. Although a few years later I found out my dad also goes by SPark sometimes. Oops?
